Baryl/Fluorit/Quarz Berbes
Fluorite (also called fluorspar) is the mineral form of calcium fluoride, CaF2. It belongs to the halide minerals. It crystallizes in isometric cubic habit, although octahedral and more complex isometric forms are not uncommon.
The Mohs scale of mineral hardness, based on scratch hardness comparison, defines value 4 as fluorite.[5]
Pure fluorite is colourless and transparent, both in visible and ultraviolet light, but impurities usually make it a colorful mineral and the stone has ornamental and lapidary uses. Industrially, fluorite is used as a flux for smelting, and in the production of certain glasses and enamels. The purest grades of fluorite are a source of fluoride for hydrofluoric acid manufacture, which is the intermediate source of most fluorine-containing fine chemicals. Optically clear transparent fluorite lenses have low dispersion, so lenses made from it exhibit less chromatic aberration, making them valuable in microscopes and telescopes. Fluorite optics are also usable in the far-ultraviolet and mid-infrared ranges, where conventional glasses are too opaque for use.
"Blue John"
Main article: Blue John (mineral)
One of the most famous of the older-known localities of fluorite is Castleton in Derbyshire, England, where, under the name of "Derbyshire Blue John", purple-blue fluorite was extracted from several mines or caves. During the 19th century, this attractive fluorite was mined for its ornamental value. The mineral Blue John is now scarce, and only a few hundred kilograms are mined each year for ornamental and lapidary use. Mining still takes place in Blue John Cavern and Treak Cliff Cavern.[25]
Recently discovered deposits in China have produced fluorite with coloring and banding similar to the classic Blue John stone. wikipedia

Celebrated, then negated-
Dangling near the dish!
Partisan unprinciples,

With news and views
And loop-de-loops,
And stab-‘em-in-the-backs.
Ready for the ruckus,
Sitting at the shrine,
Thought they really
Had the goods,
Now listen to the whine.
Thought they had it marketed,
Cornered and refined,
Around the town
The lie unwound
And then they lost their mind.
Settling to the bottom,
They slid to lower ground,
Between the lines and valentines,
some lost their royal crowns.

Mesmerized for masking.

Facts blown up with air.
Salivating swindlers,

High-falutin prostitution,
Fixed up with the Feds.
Sports and courts and teasing torts,
Women going wild-
Dow Jones Average hemorrhage,
Help the homeless child.
Down the daunting highway,
Less than overnight,
Covering ground without a sound,
Filtered by first light.
Lazy lit up lethargy,
Loosed by lying lips,
Bought the farm in triplicate,
Then sailed a sinking ship.
Galvanizing garrisons,
Gathering at the line,
Pushed ahead though nearly dead,
They won it one more time.
Tested in the tumult,
On solid ground they stand,
Groping with the changer,
Positioned close at hand.
Nightly, brightly flickering,
Turn the clicker off-
Before you go,
Don’t miss the show,
An evening totally lost!

The Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe (Denkmal fr die ermordeten Juden Europas), also known as the Holocaust Memorial, is a memorial in Berlin to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust, designed by architect Peter Eisenman and engineer Buro Happold. It consists of a 19,000 square meter (4.7 acre) site covered with 2,711 concrete slabs or "stelae", arranged in a grid pattern on a sloping field. The stelae are 2.38m (7.8') long, 0.95m (3' 1.5") wide and vary in height from 0.2 m to 4.8m (8" to 15'9"). According to Eisenman's project text, the stelae are designed to produce an uneasy, confusing atmosphere, and the whole sculpture aims to represent a supposedly ordered system that has lost touch with human reason. A 2005 copy of the Foundation for the Memorial's official English tourist pamphlet, however, states that the design represents a radical approach to the traditional concept of a memorial, partly because Eisenman did not use any symbolism. An attached underground "Place of Information" holds the names of all known Jewish Holocaust victims, obtained from the Israeli museum Yad Vashem [Wikipedia.org]

This is an isometric photo of a Portuguese Type 938C Heliograph, serial number 1308, produced at the "Fábrica de Braço de Prata, Lisboa" military factory in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1938 or later.
A heliograph is a device for signaling by flashes of reflected sunlight from mirrors using Morse Code or the like. ( see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heliograph).
This is a small heliograph. The manufacturer's plate says: "Fábrica de Braço de Prata, Lisboa", which is the name of a Portuguese military factory in eastern Lisbon, which started operations in 1908, but per this Portuguese military signalling page: historiadastransmissoes.wordpress.com/tag/heliografo/ this type of heliograph was not manufactured (anywhere) until 1930, and was first manufactured at a different location.
This Portuguese web page shows photographs of an Italian heliograph made in an Italian heliograph factory in the 1920s. The factory was purchased by the Portuguese military, and this design seems to have been the inspiration for this Portuguese design:
historiadastransmissoes.wordpress.com/2013/02/05/3525/
This is the first in a set of seven photographs of this example.
I think the "1308" on the base is the serial number, and that the unit displayed here and described as "heliograph type 938 C", manufactured in 1938:
historiadastransmissoes.wordpress.com/tag/heliografo/
on a tripod with case is serial number 1277
(the full photo is here: historiadastransmissoes.files.wordpress.com/2011/11/image... )
There is also a photograph of one of these at the museum: Espaço de Transmissões Militares - Palmela, Portugal, on a tripod (next to a much larger heliograph):
