From the photographic collection of www.flickr.com/photos/jeromerenaud/ - an image of his friend Stéphane at his morning exercise. To me in this image, Stéphane's physique is reminiscent of the confidence of Art Deco - my take on this is to stylise his profile into a Deco-esque metallic outline.

I met Heather a few years ago at a small group shoot. I had a chance to get off a few snaps before she was model-napped by some dastardly photographers. Time passed and Heather did a complete makeover; she really pushed herself in so many ways and voila, I had a chance to shoot with a beautiful, intelligent, fun, and classy young lady. We did this shoot at the Caldwell Train Depot on a lovely September evening. Part One of the shoot was a Daisy Duke theme and Heather nailed it. Part Two, the little black dress look will follow shortly.
Heather could shoot with anyone she wants but we're planning more shoots. I am so honored and flattered to be able to shoot with her.
I took these photos in September 2020 in Caldwell, Idaho.
Always fiddling around with Illustrator these days. This is how I envision the Sierksdorf Project to look, which as always is not forgotten, rather shelved for a rainy day.

Experimenting with isometric graph paper with tile designs...

This is Fluorite (spinal twinned) with Aquamarine and Quartz on Muscovite. Nagar, Hunza Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fluorite
Fluorite (also called fluorspar) is the mineral form of calcium fluoride, CaF2. It belongs to the halide minerals. It crystallizes in isometric cubic habit, although octahedral and more complex isometric forms are not uncommon.
The Mohs scale of mineral hardness, based on scratch hardness comparison, defines value 4 as fluorite.[6]
Pure fluorite is colourless and transparent, both in visible and ultraviolet light, but impurities usually make it a colorful mineral and the stone has ornamental and lapidary uses. Industrially, fluorite is used as a flux for smelting, and in the production of certain glasses and enamels. The purest grades of fluorite are a source of fluoride for hydrofluoric acid manufacture, which is the intermediate source of most fluorine-containing fine chemicals. Optically clear transparent fluorite lenses have low dispersion, so lenses made from it exhibit less chromatic aberration, making them valuable in microscopes and telescopes. Fluorite optics are also usable in the far-ultraviolet and mid-infrared ranges, where conventional glasses are too opaque for use.
Many samples of fluorite exhibit fluorescence under ultraviolet light, a property that takes its name from fluorite.[27]
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aquamarine_(gem)
Aquamarine is a pale-blue to light-green variety of beryl.[2] The color of aquamarine can be changed by heat (though this practice is frowned upon by collectors).[3]
Aquamarine has a chemical composition of Be3Al2Si6O18,[4] also containing Fe2+.[5] It has a hardness of 7.5–8 on the Mohs scale.[6] While aquamarine often contains no inclusions,[7] it can have them, noticeable or not, composed of content such as mica, hematite, or saltwater.[8]
The value of aquamarine is determined by its weight, colour,[4] cut, and clarity.[14] Due to its relative abundance, aquamarine is comparatively less expensive than other gemstones within the beryl group, such as emerald or bixbite (red beryl) but is typically more expensive than similarly coloured gemstones such as blue topaz.[7][9] Naturally occurring blue hued aquamarine specimens are more expensive than those that have undergone heat treatment to reduce yellow tones caused by ferric iron.[9] Cut aquamarines that are over 25 carats will have a lower price per carat than smaller ones of the same quality.[15]
On a personal note. My daughter is interested in gems, minerals, rocks, and stones. We took a daytrip to Tucson. It was our first time to the shows. There are actually something like 3 dozen shows around Tucson. We went to the Tucson Convention Center for about 3 hours and then to the Kino Sports Complex for about 1.5 hours. We had hoped to get to the 22nd St show and the GIGM Show on W. Starr Pass but did not have time. I wish I had bought my tickets in advance, it would have saved about 30-40 minutes of waiting in line at the Convention Center. I'm glad I brought a Circular Polarizer to cut some of the glare of the glass exhibit cases.

Here's another screen shot. I'll be uploading the complete illustration on my website this Monday 22nd April.
Simple is defined as "elementary", "easy and not involved or complicated", etc..
I am fascinated by minimalistic approach of i_travel_east. I looked around on my surroundings and I found this building. At first glance it is quite simple. But on the other angle there is a hidden beauty.
