View Large for best viewing -- these were small branches of small trees, and I was fascinated with the teeny tiny droplets of water formed all along the teeny tiny spider webs, like strands of pearls. The larger single drop contains an upside down reversed picture of the background, the foggy woods and sun shining through.

Dreams Burn Down, New Work from Ken Keirns
04/30/10, 7pm until 10pm.

Created as part of a group project initiated by Laura Zalenga. Every month a new piece of art is created interpreting a chosen theme. The topic for December 2020 was 'Isolation'.
i debated a while with my head on putting up this photo. one, being that i feel that it's new and a lot different from me, and two, that i realized after it resembles a lot like a photo from my favorite artist brooke shaden. i did a couple different concepts this day, but in the end, this is the photo i stick with.
so brooke, if you're reading this and you feel it's too similar, i will gladly take it down. until then, this is my 365.

This is a room in the Welbeck shaker shingle mill. I like the way the sawdust has accumulated over time and the muted shadows.
