"Isolation offered its own form of companionship: the reliable silence of her rooms, the steadfast tranquility of the evenings. The promise that she would find things where she put them, that there would be no interruption, no surprise. It greeted her at the end of each day and lay still with her at night."
— Jhumpa Lahiri

For my new serie "Feelings, Thoughts" I used my own texture, here, both photos are taken by my cellphone.

So here's the story:
One day I found this interesting light coming from our bedroom window and suddenly, my cheek looked like a chipmunk's.

One of my favorites! In fact this might be everyone's favorite corridor, after all it's so perfectly atmospheric. the length is just the right one to look at, and it's got that sweet sweet vibe going for it. Might actually be worth recording in video too for that sweet volumetric fog moving about, which I can never capture well in stills.
But if you could just see the beauty, these things I could never describe, these pleasures a wayward distraction, this is my one lucky prize.
No, I've no idea what an isolation trolley is either.
The bleakness (the thought and prospect of which fills me with sheer dread) of living in an 'assisted living residence'.
A beautiful building and window though.

“The isolation spins its mysterious cocoon, focusing the mind on one place, one time, one rhythm - the turning of the light. The island knows no other human voices, no other footprints. On the Offshore Lights you can live any story you want to tell yourself, and no one will say you're wrong: not the seagulls, not the prisms, not the wind.”

What an interesting photoshoot. I left my house to pic up Zack and my friends at about 10:45am. when to pic up Zack and Amanda. Then Chris and everyone else. I had to pick up Hypnotic for my friends NICK's Photoshoot witch you can see HERE. So on the way to the school Chris's tire exploded. after some time I had to leave and give nick his Hypnotic. By the time they got there I wasn't even done setting up. Anyways I'm rambling. Hope you like it.
Set up and shoot took about 3 1/2 hours. My Assignment was to illustrate Isolation.

One of the things that I hate the most about the "new" Poland are the pseudo-elite housing estates closed behind concrete walls and remote control gates. The upper-class-wannabies live in these ghettos in illusion of luxury and safety.
Another long exposure (4 minutes I guess). I am still surprised how sharp this lens can be when focused correctly.
This one may require a bit of viewing effort, but with today's COVID-19 constraints, time is not really an issue 😜. If you look at the two slightly different images cross-eyed, a third central image should appear, and with a bit of practice you'll be able to ignore the two peripheral images, allowing the central one to be viewed clearly in 3D. You may have to vary the viewing distance from your screen to get the best result.

Solitude is a state of seclusion or isolation, i.e. lack of contact with people or love. It may stem from bad relationships, deliberate choice, contagious disease, disfiguring features, mental illness
I've noticed the white spec only after I downloaded the image from the camera and I'm glad that, inspite of not being totally satisfied with it, I didn't delete the photo right on the spot, where it was taken. Whew.
