This is an other Attempted at a minimalist landscape photograph.
This was taken on the ferry back from the isle of Bute I liked the way the sun was shinning brightly on the little white yacht against the overcast hills in the back ground I took an exposure setting for the boat and use as wide an aperture as possible to reduce the depth of field so to put even more attention on the yacht.

The Westfjords or West Fjords (Icelandic: Vestfirðir [ˈvɛstˌfɪrðɪr̥], ISO 3166-2:IS: IS-4) is a large peninsula in northwestern Iceland and an administrative district, the least populous administrative district. It lies on the Denmark Strait, facing the east coast of Greenland. It is connected to the rest of Iceland by a seven-kilometre-wide isthmus between Gilsfjörður and Bitrufjörður. The Westfjords are very mountainous; the coastline is heavily indented by dozens of fjords surrounded by steep hills. These indentations make roads very circuitous and communications by land difficult. In addition many of the roads are closed by ice and snow for several months of the year. The Vestfjarðagöng road tunnel from 1996 has improved that situation. The cliffs at Látrabjarg comprise the longest bird cliff in the northern Atlantic Ocean and are at the westernmost point in Iceland. The Drangajökull glacier is located in the north of the peninsula and is the fifth-largest of the country, but the only glacier of the region.
A small barn stands alone in the landscape.
I shot this photo to capture the isolation of the barn in its field. It is a small part of the landscape which adds to the sense of solitariness.
Yellowstone is a very diverse eco-system. In the north there is quite a bit of "desert". Many spaces are void of trees and the sagebrush takes over. Some of the sagebrush, as it ages, gets quite tall. The sagebrush shown here is relatively immature. I believe the hill is Garnet Hill just west of Tower-Roosevelt on the Grand Loop Road. The snow was quite deep here in places. Some of the drifts are visible in the image. I felt quite lucky to get an evening sky like this. During much of my stay the sky was overcast.

Bryce State Hospital was one of the most beautiful asylums I have visited. Most of the architecture was fairly plain within the wards, but the decay was beautiful and there were elements in this building I had never seen before.
Sadly, the wings of this 1850's era building were demolished in 2014, when the nearby University purchased the property. The Administration section of the building remains, and will likely be turned into a museum, but the wards that hold the patient's history are gone forever.
Have reprocessed a couple of the images I took on holiday which I rushed over, so apologies to those who have seen them before, but they were annoying me! Have always loved the tin mine engine which are dotted around the cornish landscape, this is one at Minories on Bodmin Moor. Was tempted to put a horn on the wild pony, but that might have been pushing the fantasy look a littel too far!

Somewhere in Italy, there is a weird place where plants roam alleys, where there are houses which were initially built by man for man - but mankind has disappeared! The town featured in this video was inhabited by thousands of people until the 1960s. What was once a vivid place to live has become the pure definition of a ghost town. This time, we set out to learn what has happened. And as we are seeing dozens of desolate buildings, the full story reveals itself: From one day to the next everything changed.

A lone house on the shore of Loch Linnhe, nestled at the feet and folds of the beuatifully imposing, snow capped Ardgour mountains, drenched in light and shadow, backlit by sun dried Scots Pine and Birch, no-one else around, just the wind and the weather - Sounds idyllic doesn't it. We're do I sign?
Living in a city, in a crowd. A stranger amongst other strangers. One can begin to feel more stranded the larger it gets, if one chooses to envision it as such.
My wife not having any family in Toronto only intensifies her feeling of isolation, though a vacation home should soon take care of that.

Our last view, we left before sunup the next morning.
We felt very safe there high above the coast and in self isolation for our last few days.

Starting to feel a little more human now. Tried to get on with some work but tired very quickly. On a positive note though, my sense of taste appears to be slowly returning (Still cannot smell a thing!).These were eaten purely for scientific purposes to evaluate my taste recovery.
I know this is a sharing bag, but I think it would introduce far too much chance of passing on the virus if I were to let anyone else have one!
