Thank you Linda Vachon for use of her textures.

Well I never pray

But tonight I'm on my knees yeah

I need to hear some sounds that recognize the pain in me, yeah

I let the melody shine, let it cleanse my mind, I feel free now

But the airways are clean and there's nobody singing to me now

a contrast to the previous photo... Taken on my way to the Yorkshire Dales... It´s such an amazing landscape.

Have a great weekend everyone :-)

Lonesome tree witness to a rotating supercell.

something simple, frankly unsure about the editing.

The thing I like about social isolation the best is I can stay at home and go through all my old images and reprocess them.

This is a landscape image from Wyoming last year and put through some filters in Photoshop.

Hurry up and fxck off Corona

The past weekend we got snow that the weather man had said we wouldn't get. :) But we enjoyed it! I took this photo while the snow was still coming down pretty hard. I love the isolation and shape of this tree. It stands in the middle of Monacacy Battlefield where a Civil War battle took place. I almost like this solitary tree as a monument to those that died there better than the statues. Even though many died, each was a precious individual that was missed dearly by his loved ones.

Spent the night in that wee red-roofed bothy last week. What a place! Miles away from any roads, just deer, goats and a beach. This is looking down Glen Garrisdale across to Scarba with the hills of Morvern on the horizon.

Somewhere on the road between Grockleton & Royston Vasey...only joking!

Like people, every one is special.

This image I created today represents my feelings of grief in isolation.

My beautiful mother died of Covid 19 two weeks ago. My feeling of isolation are compounded by lockdown.

There is still beauty and light all around me. Like the man in the image, I am struggling to look up and connect.

I am told this will pass.

I love you Mum and miss you every moment.

LMP1 entrant belonging to Strakka Racing makes progress through S de la Foret at twilight.

Having been forced off the grid just before the start, the team battled to get the car out on to the track. They emerged at the back of the field, a full 20 minutes down and fought their way through to 7th overall before a mechanical issue brought about the car's near demise.

Strategic thinking and a never-say-die spirit kept the car technically in the race, leaving them able to lap one last time to get classified and score some vital championship points.

Sounds like some bigger motor racing teams could learn some lessons here.

all I wanted was the world,

poetry makes me disappear,

makes me think I can do it,

but I'm only fading away.

I'm fading away.
