An isolated library lies hundreds of meters away from a popular beach resort usually packed with tourists in Nandaihe, North China’s Hebei province. The library, built for public use, is also a nice place to watch the waves and tides.

If there's one thing I know for sure about doing community work, running a community based organization and being an activist, is that at times it can be very isolating. Very lonely.
I spent my entire day on the phone, in front of my computer and in and out of 4 meetings trying my best to stay ahead of things.
My first outreach of the year is behind me, but I still have a huge homeless outreach on March 9, my trip to DC in April and a mothers day outreach in May.
For 12 years now, since I created it in 2007, Project KengiKat has been a one man show as far as planning, running organizing and fundraising. I don't get much time to myself, but i care deeply about what I do, the work I've created and the people it serves. I'm also very appreciative of all my supporters and volunteers who show up the day of to help me get through the outreaches, but never the less, this work is very isolating.
After critiques, I changed the angle of both my object and my background. I cut in the shot quite a bit to only emphasize the large part of the necklace. I also made sure that the background was significantly darker & less distracting.

Sand cast by the Alexis Rudier Foundry, 1908
Commissioned by the city of Calais in 1885. It commemorated the heroism of six men during the Hundred Years' War between France and England. In 1347 the six prominent citizens offered to sacrifice their lives if King Edward III would end the year-long siege of the city. Like a Renaissance master, Rodin first worked on a nake figure to understand its form before adding clothing.

Times are rely changing, for 50 years ago the churches was full of people on Sundays. Nowadays they hardly is open once a month and then there are very few visitors. Some churches even are sold to private persons or demolished.
