The smallest member of the squirrel family, the wild chipmunk can be seen scampering through tree tops making a high-pitched “chip chip” noise.

Sheelagh and I visited the Carraghs Wildlife Park on the afternoon of 25 April and the following morning. An interesting collection of animals in pleasant surroundings.
