One thing I absolutely love about creating this group is the many many many MANY people I've met over time. Last night proves why. I was out shooting the Milky Way when I get a message from Kevin Roylance to tell me to look to the North.....well....I have him to thank for this! I didn't see the aurora dancing behind me but I'm sure thankful he sent me the message to let me know. So again, thank you good sir!

Zwei Säulengänge vom Kolonnadenhof auf der Museumsinsel vor der Alten Nationalgalerie.

Hier musste ich etwas aus der Ecke heraustreten. Mit 16mm Brennweite stand ich für die Säulengänge um den Kolonnadenhof in die Ecke gequetscht.

Ich hoffe, das Licht ist beim nächsten Einsatz meines kleinen Blackstones etwas besser.

This castle was built in the 19th century as a private residence. In the 20th century it was used as a nursing home.

Looks like they started renovating the place, but they stopped several years ago.

First shoot with the Irix 21/1.4 this morning - not really testing anymore than the feel of it .. Nice and sharp all over and I love the focussing ring movement on the Irix lenses thus far.

Second test of the Irix 15mm Blackstone lens, this time using the Zeiss 15mm Distagon profile in Lightroom. I think this one works better for this lens than the Zeiss Milvus version profile. The horizon looks more straight to me with this profile and there is less overall distortion.
