Since mist was hanging there like a fixed obstacle we could see the lunar eclipse but not the full run and never clear. Here the moon was out of the earth schadow, Mars glowing and the small village down in the valley producing still a lot of orange light.

Cropped top and bottom for composition (gotta get closer!). Darks lifted.
Here's a compilation of a few of my time lapses that I took with the Irix 15mm Firefly. All of them were shot with my 6D Mark II minus that last one. The sunset one was taken with my crop sensor 70D. I really can't say enough about this lens. I really like it for a lot of reasons.
For the scenes that the foreground is lit up they were lit up by my Lume Cubes. Entire duration's of most of my time lapses were roughly around 2-3 hours in which they were lighting the scene the entire time. Almost a must have for lighting the foreground for an extended time on night exposures!!
For the time lapses that have motion the camera was sitting on my Revolve slider. Really a great setup! If you're looking at getting into time lapse motion photography I highly recommend them!!
Music is Fall by Ross Bugden. I have used this a few times before but I just love it!
If you guys have any questions about anything I have done here please feel free to ask away! I also have a time lapse Facebook group that you can ask any questions you would like in. www.facebook.com/groups/864409090259989/

A bit slow to work on recent pictures, but this is another one from my recent trip to shoot the milky way over the old Ruins of Shivta. To get this panoramic shot I stitched 8 vertical images, each shot at 25sec, F/3.5 Iso 1000 on a Sony A7ii with the #Irix 15mm

It's been a long winter, but a good macro lens is a nice tool to have in a long winter, however, as there are a lot of interesting things to be discovered in the micro world. The Irix 150mm 1:1 Macro features an excellent build, has good handling, great sharpness, and beautiful bokeh rendering. It is held back by a lack of autofocus and image stabilization, though if you are doing macro off of a tripod that doesn't matter as much. It is priced extremely well, however, which helps make up for what is not there. My review coverage of the new Irix 150mm F2.8 1:1 Macro lens can be seen here:
