This is the Octane, my newer SGI workstation. It's got dual 225 MHz 64-bit MIPS R-10000sc processors, 384 megs of memory, and an extreme appetite. Though, I need a larger hard disc for it eventually, it's only got a 4 gig drive in there now, and I would like to actually use it for some stuff one day. Also... that silver thing sitting next to it. That's the power supply. I wouldn't mind getting video capture hardware for it, but that stuff is waaay expensive, so I might focus more on storage space, getting a proper CDROM drive for this one, and some cool software. (Maya 6.5 would be well-appreciated on a machine like this.)
