“Christ with me, Christ before me. Christ behind me. Christ in me. Christ beneath me. Christ above me. Christ on my right, Christ on my left, Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit down, Christ when I arise, Christ to shield me.” – St. Patrick
The design flows through the entire suite, connecting each piece to the next just as people flow through our lives and connect us all to each other.

Here is my wedding invitation! I did a crash course in cardmaking and borrowed my friends equipment to make my own invitations! (Still waiting for the little stud that goes in the RSVP card)
I am very pleased with how they turned out!!!
Sorry to put this on my main photostream. I'm an admin for this group, and I had another photostream to put this sort of thing, but I forgot all about signing in to it, back when we were supposed to sign into our accounts under Smugmug for the first time, so I can't figure out how to access that other account!
Incidentally, this sign was made on top of one of Steven Hronmak's very fine creations. My thanks to Steven for allowing it.
IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO SHOW A CODE FOR A PHOTO ON THE "ABOUT" PAGE OF A GROUP, SO THAT PEOPLE CAN COPY THE CODE, PLEASE TELL ME HOW!
AND IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO MAKE THAT PHOTO INTO A LINK TO THE GROUP, PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW!
Thanks!

The Invitation
Oriah Mountain Dreamer, Indian elder
It doesn't interest me what you do for a living.
I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing.
It doesn't interest me how old you are.
I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dreams, for the adventure of being alive.
It doesn't interest me what planets are squaring your moon.
I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow, if you have been opened by life's betrayals or have become shriveled and closed from fear of further pain. I want to know if you can sit with the pain, mine or your own, without moving to hide it or fade it or fix it. I want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own, if you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, be realistic, or remember the limitations of being human.
It doesn't interest me if the story you are telling me is true.
I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself; if you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul. I want to know if you can see beauty even when it is not pretty every day, and if you can source your life from God's presence. I want to know if you can live with failure, yours and mine, and still stand on the edge of a lake and shout to the silver moon, "Yes!"
It doesn't interest me to know where you live or how much money you have.
I want to know if you can get up after a night of grief and despair, weary and bruised to the bone and do what needs to be done for the children.
It doesn't interest me who you are or how you came to be here.
I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink back.
It doesn't interest me where or what or whom you have studied.
I want to know what sustains you from the inside when all else falls away.
I want to know if you can be alone with yourself, and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments.

and Abbie said "I bet you can hardly wait for the letter F" in which I replied "why?" and she says "feather of course" and she was so right! duh!
And since my inspiration bird died and no longer travels. I have decided to fill my group with a feather now and then. It had a good run I suppose. I met people I wouldn't normally have ever met because of the bird. It held a good story at least for a while.
The story of the original inspiration bird is HERE It all began in 2011
So this is an invitation for you feather finders. Place your feathers in our inspiration bird group. I would be so happy.

I received a beautifully done, wax sealed wedding invitation today from Harmony and Alex. Congratulations!
I met this young couple 2 years ago in London and remember we had a nice chat in an Italian restaurant one night, very inquisitive minds. I hope they still keep that in their spirits and don't let works bog them down. I'm not going to give you guys funny marriage quotes or advices, but let's see what I can find from an anagram of your names…… Harmony + alex…… "X-ray manhole"…. ok suppose marriage is like a manhole and... ok it means nothing….. here you go "Hoy! Relax man!" This I will sign in your guest book, and remember this gold sentence throughout your life!
