It is the garden that attracts most of the visitors to the island.
The Italian-style gardens are organized on ten terraces, arranged in way to form a big truncated pyramid.
The statue of the Unicorn (heraldic emblem of the Borromeo family) which has on its sides the statues of Nature and Art together with several stone figures of the ancient mythology.
In Islamic culture, doors often symbolize the transition from the worldly to the divine. The grand doors of a mosque serve as a metaphorical passage to a sacred space, inviting the worshiper to leave behind the distractions of everyday life and enter into a space of prayer and reflection.

n 1857, work began on the present tower. The lower half of the twenty-four-foot-tall, cylindrical tower was built of granite, and the upper half of brick. The lantern was made of cast iron and housed a fifth-order Fresnel lens showing a fixed white light.
The lighthouse was featured in the movie Forest Gump featuring Tom Hanks, concluded his cross-country run on the runway of Marshall Point Lighthouse.

This is at the border when arriving into Nova Scotia from New Brunswick from here I had to go another 2 hours to be home. I then had to wait to get a call that my car was fixed and then drive back to Matane to pick it up.

This square is part of the ETH Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich) and is a popular hangout for many students. It's a platform with a scenic view of the old town.
Churches from left to right are, Preacher's Church (13th-century), Grossmunster (1220), middle steeple is part of the Preacher's Church, Fraumünster (Founded in 853) and St. Peter (1706).

The Manaus Opera House (Amazon Theatre) is in the heart of the Amazon rainforest in Brazil. It is the home of the annual Amazonas Opera Festival and the home of the Amazonas Philharmonic Orchestra, musical concerts and other performances also happen here.
It was chosen by Vogue magazine as one of the most beautiful opera houses in the world.
The dome has 36,000 tiles imported from Alsace, upon which a Brazilian flag is emblazoned. It was during the construction of the theatre, in 1889, that Brazil became a republic, ending the imperial rule of Dom Pedro II.
Alice is very busy and very playful. She is constantly inviting other cats besides Harvey to play with her. Petra will cave soon, I think. He has come close a few times....

Crescent Beach is a rare type of beach barrier called a tombolo, approximately 2 km (1.24 mi) long and 40 to 65 m (131 - 213 ft) wide. It divides the head of Green Bay from the tidal flats and salt march of Dublin Bay.
A tombolo is a natural sand bar that heads straight off shore to an island. A tombolo maintains a fragile balance between a building up of sand deposited by wind (generation), and the erosion of sand through wave scouring (degeneration). Most tombolos are therefore mobile, constantly shifting in length and width. Many will eventually disappear completely.

This is the rope that you follow to get to the falls, it is weathered so be careful.
The highest fall near Wentworth valley is Annandale Falls, a 10 minute return trip from the highway. The terrain to get down to the base of the falls is very steep but there are some (weathered) ropes to help with the decent. It is approx. 15.25 to 18.3 meters (50 to 60ft) on the east branch of the Wallace River.
