Black & White and color By calculating the

The other important point in taking a good photo and the composition.

The classic mistake is to rush when a scene seems interesting, we do not check the edges of the canal and try to fit as many elements as possible in the direction no we have to make a choice and it is arranged to organize the together.

at first it is preferable to eliminate from the case anything that is parasitic when reading the image by placing yourself judiciously.

I never use zooms, Than fixed lenses Which forces me to build my image in other words I learn to zoom with my feet.

This local fox seems to work on the "if I cannot see you, you cannot see me" principal.

Have been trying to build up a series of shots of people living on the street, but havent got as many as I want yet but decided to post one anyway

I notice them as i walk around the city but what really gets me is seing so many people walk past without a glance either nulled to seeing or oblivious to it,

seeing them makes me appreciate that life is easy for me

Wave shapes, all the same, all different

You just look at the clothes, not the face. Why?

The clear air meant we could see for miles. directly ahead of us here is Coles Bay. And to the left is Picnic Island, looking very much like a whale coming up for air. To the left of that is the newest resort at Coles Bay, the 5-star Saffire Freycinet, with the best views of The Hazards. saffire-freycinet.com.au/

If you look carefully at this bushland you can see a remarkable variety of trees and colours. And that diagonal line of the point makes for a nice composition. Best of all, only people on the track can see it. To the rest of the world we are invisible.

Walking on the thin path between the visible and the invisible, between reality and daydream. The visible is there, in the open, but its significance lies in the dark, to be discovered, and there it is that we call upon our imagination and memory of all we know to seek the hidden universe that lies beyond.

Le città sottili. 2.

Infrared landscape photography is in a world all its own. The high contrast created between the glowing trees and dark skies and water easily transform an image. It can be difficult to pre-visualize exactly how the scene will change in the infrared spectrum, and watching the camera's live view feed can be as enjoyable as actually taking the pictures.

The colour in this image is fake, because we cannot actually perceive the IR spectrum. Differences in the wavelengths of light exist, but our eyes can't detect them and our brains can't interpret them. What many infrared photographers, including myself, choose to do is to remap these wavelengths of light back to colours that are more familiar to us than invisible shades of red. By setting the proper whitebalance and then swapping the red and blue colour channels in Photoshop, it's relatively easy to get a blue sky. The technique takes a bit of practice and experience, but much of the process can be set up using actions in Photoshop to speed things up.

This image was taken on yesterday's Virtual Photo Walk to Wilson's Falls, and was shot as a panorama to achieve the composition I was looking for. Somewhere in this video ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=KyyqSKt7ebc ) you'll see this exact scene in IR video, with the colours that come off of the camera (around the 11:47 mark). Worth checking out if you're curious!
