It is only shallow people who do not judge by appearances. The true mystery of the world is the visible, not the invisible. Oscar Wilde

Buona serata :)
Wild rabbits have a choice of survival tactics when danger looms - either run for the burrow, or sit perfectly still and hope you won't be noticed...

You pass in silence
barely seeing,
alley filled with light,
the day still, windless
cold, the absence
of desire, when he
appears, shopping
cart of treasures,
looking like someone
you knew: a friend
who lost his way, sad-
faced boy at the park,
his eyes gazing far off,
as if he had already left
his mortal body behind.

I captured this IR Pano on a Western US trip in Nevada. Northern Nevada will surprise you with its amazing beauty.
Thanks for stopping by
Island guardian. That's one of the Elizabeth Islands in the distance.
Gimp ate the metadata, so here it is for the technically curious:
Lens: Canon EF 100-300mm f/5.6 L, focal length 180mm
Camera: Canon EOS 350D, infrared converted (720nm or thereabouts)
Aperture: f/9
Shutter: 1/500 second
ISO: 200.
Likely just a UV filter. I prefer using polarizers out in daylight but this lens REALLY doesn't like colored or dark filters (hence my nickname for it, the Prima Dona!). That said, the background is remarkably sharp, and while IR does cut through atmospheric haze so too do polarizing filters, so one MAY have been on (it is full daylight, after all!)
INVISIBLE BOUNDARIES exist between wild horse bands and only the band stallion knows where they are. The black stallion accidentally crossed that line and got to close to the other stallions mares. The dust almost obscured the picture. :)

There has to be an invisible sun
It gives its heat to everyone
There has to be an invisible sun
That gives us hope when the whole day's done
A shot from this mornings shoot at Wombarra with Ant, Steve, Sonia and Greard from Focus. Great morning, the cloud put on a magic show for us and stayed around too.
