My final idea for the "Lowepro UK Comp - Invention" pool was on music, having come away ecstatic from the U2 concert yesterday (15th). But then I couldn't justify music or song as a human invention, because these flying musical instruments have been doing it for longer than us.
But this is a complete cheat, none of the images are mine. Credit to:

With a bit of time to spare, my brother and I immediately invented a game in which you had to throw your stones (We each had a set of 5 or 6 or 7, either in white or in black) as close to the glass shard as possible. If you didn't get it closer you had to go again. We scored like in curling, and played up to 10.
We had great fun, just letting our souls loose and play like when we were boys!

occhiali scuri per non vedere
tutte le anime del duemila
quelle non hanno più l'armonia....
Ma prendila come se fosse una

Strade che non si inventeranno mai
da sole, sole, sole"
