Meet Lt. Phil Martinez, veteran of the Ice Planet wars, one of the characters of my next MOC. Now he\'s a security guard, hired by the space diner\'s owner after several attempted robberies.
He doesn\'t need to wear a helmet in outerspace because, well... you can see his face, marked by the wars.
For the background I tried for the first time DigiNik13's aluminium foil technique.

Isn't she beautiful? She has a little white heart on her chest. Frick was finally able to successfully call her into the nesting box right before dawn & she stayed this time. Don't know where Frick stays during the day. My 1st shot of her in low level early morning light. No flash used since she was looking at me. Still no guarantees of babies but this is very encouraging.

My disabled Common Grackle that I have had the privilege to feed and try to nurse back to health. He was without one claw and had a tumor on his cheek. It didn't seem to bother him as he came to the feeder almost daily, but alas, I have not seen him recently. Sure hope he is ok.
"Here is a lucky little boy who narrowly escaped tragedy. He was rescued from a home after the husband in a drunken fit kicked the kitten against a wall and badly injured him. He was rushed by a TCR volunteer to the vet where he stayed under observation for many days. Luckily nothing was broken and he rebounded from his terrible start at life to become a totally sweet, loving kitten. He is so happy to be held and loves to play. He purrs instantly and seeks out human attention. Help him find a home."

Crotalaria is a genus of flowering plants in the legume family Fabaceae (subfamily Faboideae). The genus includes about 500 species of herbaceous plants and shrubs. Africa is the continent with the majority of Crotalaria species (approximately 400 species), which are mainly found in damp grassland, especially in floodplains, depressions and along edges of swamps and rivers, but also in deciduous bush land, roadsides and fields. Some species of Crotalaria are grown as ornamentals. The common name rattlepod or rattlebox is derived from the fact that the seeds become loose in the pod as they mature, and rattle when the pod is shaken. The name derives from the Ancient Greek κρόταλον, meaning "castanet", and is the same root as the name for the rattlesnakes (Crotalus).
Introducing the Gothic Skulls set. It includes a pair of long earrings, plus brooches for both sides of the chest ( but of course you can attach them anywhere ). Cookie came from the rescue centre I used to volunteer at. She's nearly 8 years old and had previously lived with a lady who, very sadly, had to give her up due to ill health. She's settling in really well, although she's still very nervous around strangers. I took this photo on only her second day outdoors. She was lying on the roof of a low shed, behind a hedge and under some trees. It was very hot that day.
Somehow I think I might be posting the odd photo of her from time to time. By the way, she has a bit of cobweb on a whisker above her head, in case you're wondering. :)

I'm shocked at how big her head is o.o she's going to need her own SD16 body at some point. She fits on the nYID body even.. e__e

The first generation Mustang introduced in 1965 was the first of the Pony cars. In order to keep down developement costs and to save time the concept utilized many proprietary components. It used drive train and components from thee Falcon and Fairlane and a similar platform type to the Falcon. Introduced in 1964 ahead of the 1965 model year meaning the 1965 year changes were made in mid 1965 as is the case with this car. This included the introduction of the 289 Ci engine with a twin barrel carb giving 200 bhp a four barrel carb was also available with a power increase to 225 bhp. The 1966 model is very similar with changes to the quarter panel badges and a bared grille replaced the mesh version.

The outside facade of the Mr. Toads Wild Ride show building. A classic "dark ride" featured in Fantasyland at Disneyland Park, California.
The outside brick work in this land lends itself to some interesting designs just waiting to be captured. I have photographed this building so many times before, but on this particular time as I was entering the doors I looked up and caught this incurable adventurer with a nice hazy blue sky giving him some wonderful contrast to his pose.
This is one of the few rides that was operational when the park opened in 1955. While it was updated 1983, the premise remains the same.
Where else can you go to Hell in a Disney park and still have a good time?

Yup, I did it. I named a doll Plushie. When I saw her face in person, I knew the name was meant to be-- she's just so CUTE.
I only recently started looking at Ddung dollies, and when I did, I knew I wanted a pink haired one. After a little searching, I found that the White Rabbit Ddung was just what I was looking for! She had pink hair and she was the bigger version of a Ddung (about 7" and a head as big as a Pullip's head). The day I found her, Shawn said he would buy her for me as a birthday/xmas pressie. ^___________^
I love a lot of things about Plushie, but I think the feature that really strikes me the most is her pink hair. Not only is it incredibly long (past her feet!), but it's so, so, so soft. In fact, it's better quality than Blythe saran hair-- so gorgeous.
