Touchdown, but make it love... Every time we fall into moments like this, I’m reminded how lucky I am to have you, Dove. You’ve been my win since day one, the kind of victory that makes the bruises and the grind worth it. I’ll take every hit, every game, every late night just to end up right here ... with you in my arms, smiling like this. You make all of it feel easy, even when life isn’t. 🔥 (Photo by Dovely)
There’s a quiet strength in the strays — a resilience shaped by rain, hunger, and the uncertain comfort of sunlight. This cat found me the way wild things do: not by seeking help, but by watching from the shadows until trust settled softly between us.
In those golden eyes lies a story of survival and solitude, a reminder that even the smallest creatures carry worlds within them. I’ve seen this face many mornings — cautious, curious, and somehow wiser than its years.
Ducks are probably among my favorite photography subjects. Scenes where a usually spooky duck come close by and offer an intimate moment like this one are just icing on the cake. I like to mix up my posting and I was not going to post another duck today but, I could not resist John's request to post more... now be careful what you ask for as I have a lot of ducks photos :)
A portrait not only of her face, but of the light that chooses to reveal her.

beneath ancient arches, she moves forward with quiet certainty, framed by stone and shadow, carrying the invisible as much as the visible. the light ahead doesn't blind—it invites, hollowing the air into something almost holy.
on a cold bench in retiro park, they folded into each other like gravity’s pull. the world around them blurred and faded, leaving only the texture of denim, leather, and quiet affection. her head rested gently against his, his gaze fixed somewhere distant, as if holding a thought too fragile to share. their sneakers, tangled and rooted, told the story of youth, of stillness within motion. it was a moment both fleeting and eternal, wrapped in the silence of the park.
two figures walk hand in hand through a narrow corridor of light, their forms reduced to shadow and silhouette. the faint outline of their linked hands adds an unexpected warmth to the scene, turning an ordinary walk into a moment of quiet intimacy. with faces hidden and only their shadows stretching long across the pavement, this image captures a fleeting but tender connection, a small gesture made mysterious in the play of light and darkness. it invites the viewer to imagine who they are and what stories they carry in this quiet, cinematic scene.
After a long hiatus, due to personal matters, we are back.
The image, based on the beautiful and sad song by Linkin' Park, is meant to depict a moment in which the memory of people who are no longer part of our lives returns.
The model is once again the lovely Light Sequent.

he leans into the silence, lifting his glasses with the knowing glance of someone who has read a thousand stories between people—not on pages, but in eyes and pauses.
a man leans over his notes behind a warped sheet of plastic, his gesture caught inside a shimmering world of soft reflections. the green glow above drifts like a distant signal, and the scene turns a simple moment into a quiet fragment of urban dream.
under the cold light of a shop window in málaga, a child points — not wildly, not begging — just quietly certain. the dolls above sit like judges, all priced the same, all smiling the same. a grown hand guides from the left, but the child already knows. it’s not about what’s best, it’s about what’s wanted. the moment is short, the light fluorescent, but the reaching — that stays.

the city hummed outside, alive with the season's buzz, yet here, behind glass and strings of colored light, was stillness. the bokeh of a thousand tiny bulbs blurred into an electric haze, framing a man who sat quietly, detached from the festive chaos. his eyes drifted sideways, lost in thought, as if the lights had stolen his attention but not his heart.
there’s a story in his hands, wrapped around a half-eaten meal. the kind of moment caught in transit—between the glow of holiday cheer and the weight of something heavier. madrid’s pulse continued on, neon reflections bouncing off the glass, but in this corner of the night, time slowed. the decorations tried to bring joy, but they felt distant, merely an echo of warmth.
beneath the cold, muted tones of a coat and hat, there was a flicker of warmth. but it wasn’t from the season—it was from the human condition, the quiet battles we all carry, unnoticed in the noise.

I consider the song to be one of redemption and hope, so in my imagery the couple the song is about is at a service station, at night, happily dicking around, waiting for the next illegal car race.
The set is by Minimal, to which I simply added my Shelby GT 500<3, edited the poses for myself and the lovely Light Sequent.
I hope you like it.

a moment suspended in silence – eyes wandering beyond the frame, thoughts adrift, lit by the softest shadow. it’s the kind of quiet you only hear in black and white.
beneath the glow of delicate daylight, ruby nails hover above rolls dressed in sesame and sweetness, as if pausing before a quiet symphony of flavors. every detail whispers indulgence — the glistening glaze, the fragile bloom, the promise of a taste both refined and unforgettable.
a peaceful moment in the hidden depths, capturing the serene stillness of a hippo resting just below the water’s surface. the intricate details of its rough skin, with every fold and tiny hair illuminated, tell a story of resilience and calm. the gentle ripples spreading across the water reflect a sense of tranquility, while the earthy tones blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings. there’s a quiet beauty in this intimate close-up, a reminder of the grace that lies within the giants of the wild, hidden in plain sight, in the slow dance of light and shadow.
A sweet intimate moment between a duck and her baby chick. Just luck being there at the right time, right place.
beneath layers of grit and wallpaint, a man sits like stone under summer skies. his eyes, hidden but not blind, hold the weight of cities and silence. framed by his own rhythm, he remains unshaken—equal parts legend and local.

Observing this gibbon in a quiet moment, I was struck by the profound human-like quality of its contemplative pose. Sitting alone on this weathered log, lost in what seemed like deep thought, it embodied a universal sense of solitude and reflection that transcends species.
I chose black and white to emphasize the emotional weight of the moment and to strip away any distractions from the pure essence of this contemplative scene. The dramatic lighting naturally sculpted the animal's form against the dark background, creating an almost portrait-like quality that felt more like fine art than wildlife documentation.
What moved me was the dignity and introspection visible in this simple pose - arms wrapped around legs, gazing into the distance. There's something deeply relatable about this posture that speaks to our shared evolutionary heritage and our common capacity for quiet reflection.
My intention was to capture not just a photograph of an animal, but a moment of genuine emotion and contemplation. Sometimes the most powerful wildlife images are the quietest ones, where we glimpse something of ourselves reflected back through another creature's experience.

at café & té, calle de goya in Madrid, she sat again. not for the first time. maybe every day. she sipped her coffee and enjoyed a cigarillo. this time, i introduced myself to her. i asked if i could take her portrait. she looked surprised but, after a brief hesitation, told me her name was carmen and said yes. i edited the photo right there on my phone. from table 5, i sent it to table 4 via whatsapp (the café staff had numbered the outdoor tables, ignoring the logical sequence of house numbers). she thanked me, paid for her coffee, and left. perhaps until tomorrow.
the narrow street becomes a river of light, flowing between walls of shadow, carrying a silent procession of two — one hidden, one revealed — drifting together through the quiet heartbeat of the city.
A delicate moment captured through a rain-specked window. A colorful pinwheel spins slowly, bringing a sense of movement and change, while the village houses in the background blur softly, creating a dreamy, reflective atmosphere. The rain and the turning pinwheel evoke a gentle shift in the air, a subtle reminder of transformation and renewal.

Comparten el silencio del atardecer sin necesidad de palabras. El río fluye dorado abajo. El sol cae despacio. El momento es perfecto.

They share the silence of sunset without need for words. The river flows golden below. The sun falls slowly. The moment is perfect.
the room hums with the low buzz of the tattoo machine. his arms cradle his head, a gesture of surrender and resolve. the black ink etches "grateful" into his skin, a permanent declaration of something deeply felt. the artist, focused and steady, works with precision under the stark glow of the lamp. the room is a mix of steel and stillness, the smell of antiseptic lingering in the air. each stroke marks not just skin, but time—an act of creation, pain, and meaning captured in monochrome.
captured at the old port of saint-tropez, this photograph beautifully frames a couple enjoying a romantic moment as the sun sets over the bay. the warm hues of the sunset blend with the silhouettes of the couple and the yachts in the distance, creating a serene and intimate scene. the tranquil waters reflect the golden light, enhancing the peaceful atmosphere of this picturesque location.
