The Full Dollar project is a collaboration Departures, Outpost for Contemporary Art artist-in-residence Xavier Andrade and a team Occidental College media art students, who will examine the tradition of fine art and hand-painted signs in the north east neighborhood of Los Angeles, Highland Park. The project culminates in the fall with a revitalization effort to generate fixtures of artwork on select storefronts on York Boulevard led by Andrade’s Full Dollar Collection, five groups of sign painters, contemporary visual artists and business owners. When I asked how he felt about it during the interview, and he pressed his lips, saying,
"I used to be conflicted about the whole industry. It was quite traumatic, but now it's not. I have found synergy and at this present time, it is bliss."
Looking over my glasses at him, I asked, "Oh really?"
Thinking to myself, "This guy doesn't look blissful at all."
"Then again", I thought, "he is an evil genius."

19 year old french student, his favorite color is black and his favorite food is at Mcdonalds.
His dream is to be rich.
Two words to describe himself was "Villain" because he likes to "show a darker image of himself even though he is nice" and "Nice" because: "I am a nice boy".
I asked him about his worst child memory and he said: "When I saw my grandpa having sex with my dad". When I asked him about his favorite childhood memory he said: "When a girl walked 5 kilometers to my grandpa's house for me to deflowerer her".
If Dylan could change anything in todays world, it would be to: "To pave the entire South American continent to create a circuit for my numerous sports cars that are each extremely luxurious."
To finish, I asked him what the word "Happiness" ment for him, and he said: "To have a lot of money and not knowing what to do with it."

Before I took on my current position in the Sales Motorsport department, I worked in the finance department (controlling). My main tasks are: Being the contact for customer requests and forwarding internal technical requirements, creating quotes, checking the financial numbers regarding the profit center Motorsport, consideration of the profitability as well as participation and support in the budget planning within the RENTAL division and the associated departments. What I especially appreciate about my work is the friendly and courteous way of dealing with colleagues as well as the high degree of flexibility. Especially worth mentioning are the legendary parties. I have not met any company that can celebrate like RIEDEL! :-)"
This week, we recorded the stories of 12 local activists who dared to change the world. We interviewed members of the Mill Valley Community Action Network (MVCAN), our grassroots political action group.
This photo set covers our production for the video interviews we shot at my home studio over two days: Sunday, August 27 and Saturday, September 2, 2017. Here are the MVCAN members we talked to on Sunday: Natalie Frederick, Peter Graumann, June Cooperman, Susan Bolle, Suz Lipman and Carol Korenbrot. On Saturday, we spoke with Danny Altman, Laura Boles, Matt Jaffe, Lisa Ristorucci, Eileen Fisher and Bernard Catalinotto
We talked about their reactions to recent news events and how they took political action in response. The interviews show each activist against a black background, head and shoulders only, with great lighting. They were expertly shot by our friend Gary Yost, a talented filmmaker, as a labor of love.
We will edit a number of videos from those interviews in October: a year-in-review montage and short vignettes and community profiles. These videos will premiere in our November event, and will be shared on the MVCAN site and through social media at that time.
Our activists found their voice and spoke up, loud and clear. We hope they will inspire more people to take political action. Their acts of resistance did more than just liberate them: they can engage millions more to stand up for liberty and justice.
