Nearly 300 job seekers attended the recent Career Fair at College of DuPage. The fourth annual event featured more than 60 employers. In addition to the fair, the College’s Career Services office offered a number of pre-fair workshops to help job seekers fine tune their resumes and prepare for the interview process.

Radio is more flexible than television; the interview started already in the escalator. Agnes from the radio's Science News interviewing Therese for a radio report on the newly described fungi Bacillicladium lobatum and Bradymyces graniticola. They are described from Kungsträdgården metro station in Stockholm, so far the only known place where the fungi grow.

Trish Levido and Zoe Dobson have been undertaking oral history interviews, for the Mosman Local Studies Collection, for a number of years.
They presented a demonstration of an oral history interview to show how simple, stress free and entertaining an interview can be for all those involved.
Part of the 2010 National Trust Heritage Festival at Mosman Library, 9-24 April 2010.
The theme of this year’s festival allows us to recognise the contributions local people have made in shaping their community. To this end a series of workshops have been devised – Stories to Tell – to facilitate the recording of ‘everyman’s life’.

Mingle Media TV and our Red Carpet Report host, Denice Salcedo were on the red carpet for the International Myeloma Foundation's 9th Annual Comedy Celebration benefiting the Peter Boyle Research Fund and supporting the Black Swan Research Initiative® at The Wilshire Ebell Theatre & Club.
The event honors actor Peter Boyle through laughter, who died in late 2006 after a four year battle with myeloma, an incurable cancer of the bone marrow and raises money for research to find a cure.
Fred Willard was on hand as the Master of Ceremonies, with Jeff Garlin, Jay Johnson, Andy Kindler, Heather McDonald and Tig Nataro and special musical guest Paul Shaffer performing for the guests during the event.
The International Myeloma Foundation 9th Annual Comedy Celebration also honoring Michael S. Katz, a longtime member of the IMF Board of Directors who passed away in April 2015 from multiple myeloma which was diagnosed in 1990.
