Intersteller adj-meaning in or among the stars. This is an original painting done on masonite, by me.
The Pleiades also known as Seven Sisters and Messier 45, is an asterism of an open star cluster in the northwest of the constellation Taurus. At a distance of about 444 light-years, it is among the nearest star clusters to Earth , being the most obvious star cluster to the naked eye in the night sky. It is also observed to house the reflection nebula NGC 1432.
The cluster is dominated by hot blue luminous stars that have formed within the last 100 million years. Reflection nebulae around the brightest stars were once thought to be leftover material from their formation , but are now considered likely to be an unrelated dust cloud in the interstellar medium through which the stars are currently passing.

Sh2-170 (LBN 577) - "Little Rosette Nebula"
Costellazione: Cassiopea
Distanza: 2300 parsec (7500 anni luce)
Dimensione: 20 minuti d'arco (13.4 parsec / 43.7 anni luce)
Stella Ionizzante: BD+63 2093 (Classe O)

Sh2-170, also known as the "Little Rosette Nebula," is an H II region in the constellation Cassiopeia, approximately 2300 parsecs (7500 light-years) from Earth. It got its nickname "Little Rosette Nebula" because it resembles the more famous Rosette Nebula. This nebula is ionized by BD+63 2093, a main-sequence star of class O that emits intense ultraviolet radiation. The nebula has an almost circular shape and extends about 20 arcminutes across the sky (13.4 parsecs / 43.7 light-years).
The ultraviolet radiation emitted by the central star heats the surrounding gas, causing it to glow and creating the nebula's characteristic luminosity. Sh2-170 is of great interest to astronomers because it provides valuable information about star formation processes and the interaction between young stars and the interstellar medium.

As usual, I post both versions, obtained using the SHO and HOO palette.
Due to the long integration, the faint background nebulosity is revealed in the images.
