...or the world through semi-tranparent glycerine soap bars, backlit with a headlamp. No digital post-processing.
Camera: Lomo LC-A. Film: Kodak Elite Color 200, developed with the Tetenal Colortec C-41Mono Kit Rapid. Must have screwed the development, as I have those white spots on the whole film. Used a rather old kit plus a too high temperature. Could see the big "grains" by eye while the film was drying.
It’s all about Time!
It’s time I finally cruised on in with my own recolour of the Interstellar space ship designed by @aaronbrickdesigner
Inspired to join in on the fun by @lego.joey @fleebnork @fazoom7 @mbgilliam45 @danishspaceprogram @troublesbricking @angusmaclane and many more!
TimeCruisers is one of my top 5 fave themes. Not only because I grew up reading the comics. But the action and sense of adventure in the sets them selves led my childhood into many worlds of imagination. Also the absolute ridiculousness of parts used to make their wacky contraptions was hilariously fun!

Often imaged but rarely mentioned, Messier 43 is a large star forming region in its own right. It's just part of the star forming complex of gas and dust that includes the larger, more famous neighboring Messier 42, the Great Orion Nebula. In fact, the Great Orion Nebula itself lies off the lower edge of this scene. The close-up of Messier 43 was made while testing the capabilities of a near-infrared instrument with one of the twin 6.5 meter Magellan telescopes at Las Campanas Observatory in the Chilean Andes. The composite image shifts the otherwise invisible infrared wavelengths to blue, green, and red colors. Peering into caverns of interstellar dust hidden from visible light, the near-infrared view can also be used to study cool, brown dwarf stars in the complex region. Along with its celebrity neighbor, Messier 43 lies about 1,500 light-years away, at the edge of Orion's giant molecular cloud. At that distance, this field of view spans about 5 light-years. via NASA ift.tt/1J7ut2C

NASA’s IMAP detector being tested at the NASA Space Radiation Laboratory (NSRL) located at Brookhaven National Lab. The Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe, or IMAP, is an orbiter that will help researchers better understand the boundary of the heliosphere, a sort of magnetic bubble surrounding and protecting our solar system. It is projected to be launched in 2025. (Kevin Coughlin / Brookhaven National Laboratory)
