I have no idea what man things my husband is tinkering with but they looked quite interesting for a shot.
So it's interesting that no new shots of mine came up in Explore for more than three months, and then suddenly, in one day... several new ones popped in, some I'd taken months previously. I've never come close to having 16 photos in Explore... and it's kind of weird to see especially the one from Sept 5, 2006, suddenly show up. All very mysterious to me.... flickr can be fickle?

Oceanside Pier is the most impressive pier I’ve seen. It is one of the longest wooden piers on the West Coast, spanning 1,942 feet in length. The pier opened in 1987 as the city's sixth pier to be built (fifth on this spot). - - - - - Oceanside is a beach city located 35 miles north of San Diego and 83 miles south of Los Angeles in a region of San Diego County called North County.
In Hebrew they call this a Pita Peach! Obviously based on the shape, these look like peaches that have been squished down.

Going out shortly one more time to the Hill Country to catch a last look at bluebonnets and other blooming flowers, and will post photos from this trip shortly.
I'll be the first to admit that the image quality is awful. I have pushed the limits of my equipment. But, I find the menu here quite interesting: a bird leg and a centipede!
An interesting plant at Boolcoomatta, South Australia. Adnyamathanha and Wiljakali country. Plant is possibly Euphorbia perhaps tannensis or stevenii.
after a long day excursion around tuscany,we ended up in the anclent town of sanginminiano.after walking around the wonky cobble roads and up'n'down well worn steps we finally reached the top of the town and this is what i seen..pure magic..........
