Riedel Communications' intercom systems have taken center stage for "Singin' in the Rain," the first musical ever presented within the famed Grand Palais in Paris.
Directed by Robert Carsen, this version of the popular musical originally opened at the Théâtre du Châtelet theater and opera house and then moved to the Grand Palais when the Châtelet closed for renovations. Riedel’s Artist, Bolero, Performer, and RiFace systems support communications throughout the 2,400-seat theater built within the Grand Palais.
We seem to have sprouted a multiple occupancy door entry system outside the front door.
Curious...
Maybe I can shed some light on this tomorrow... ;)
Riedel today introduced the RSP-1216HL SmartPanel, an all-new 1RU model in the company’s acclaimed 1200 Series of intelligent intercom and control panels for real-time video, audio, data, and communications networks. Driven by user demand, RSP-1216HL is a compact version of the app-based RSP-1232HL SmartPanel user interface.
An old intercom that was on the wall of the room where I stayed in Davis Hall at the Truro Campus of the Nova Scotia Community College while taking a course in 2002.
Riedel’s Bolero wireless intercom and Artist digital matrix intercom solutions are providing an extensive communications backbone for the 2020 NBA Bubble in Orlando, Florida.

After the power plant and the cooling tower, here come pictures of the offices, including the baths, cafeteria as well as workshops. And, a little farther, a former Intercom coal distributor (big metallic structure).
European Tour Production (ETP), a Danish provider of live event production services and equipment, has chosen Riedel Communications’ Bolero as its go-to wireless intercom solution.
Description: Three volunteers are having trouble getting the door to open. Every building has a different security system.
On a Sunday in November 2013, student photographer Andrea Goh documented the Chicken Soupers as they prepared, packaged and delivered Jewish kosher meals to people with AIDS, chronic illness, disabilities, and those who are home-bound. Chicken Soupers, volunteers from congregations Beth Sholom and Sherith Israel, have been providing meals since the mid-1980s.
The Chicken Soupers series of photos is part of the "Through Our Eyes: Visual Stories of the Richmond Neighborhood" photography project.

Phillip (22), Formula 1 Motorsports Solutions Specialist: “In 2013 I began my apprenticeship as an electronics technician for devices and systems at RIEDEL. Since completing the program in 2017 I have been a Motorsports Solutions Specialist for the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 team’s intercom and radio systems. At each race, I am initially responsible for the technical set-up of race control and all groups working in the pitlane. Then I set up and commission the communications system for Team Sauber. After that, my focus is on supporting the team and making sure everything runs smoothly. After each race, we immediately dismantle and pack our gear for the next race.
At RIEDEL, I particularly enjoy the friendly atmosphere – almost everyone knows each other – and the opportunity to travel around the globe.”
"conversation intercom
you hear what i say but
it comes out all wrong"
Today has been quite a phone based day, loads of phone based meetings, the preview of iPhone OS 3.0, and a quick conversation with my brother on my mobile (I was taking photos of the phone whilst talking to him on speakerphone).
For those who don't know already, I have a monster of a phone which I use for almost everything when I'm out and about, I have an unlimited evening and weekends plan which I juice out to read mail, check my feeds, twitter, go on facebook and read up on random things and whatnot.
My current phone plan is about to end and I'm considering being lame and getting an iphone. Though having done quite a bit of research and feeling slightly unimpressed by tonights talk about os 3.0, I'm starting to reconsider getting one and just sticking to my current phone (or get an e71 which is the next one up to mine). It's quite a messy business but I do quite a lot of work and stuff on the fly so a decent phone is what I need, not only that but amazing battery life is a must since I do go ALL the way with my phone and came easily juice out the battery (which is another turn off for the iPhone).
Anyway, the photo is just about miscommunication over the phone, it's lyrics from Soulwax's conversation intercom and I basically bluetoothed a photo of the lyrics onto my phone and viewed it on full screen.
