The tape you see is actually tape on top of tape. I taped the wires together before we realized we needed a stronger support (provided by the plastic), so I cut the tape and re-did it all after adding the plastic supports.
The button on the original prototype of Stay Tuned. The emphasis was on referencing the form of a radio, not on making interaction with the button prominent.

Eduardo Kac presents work on Bio Art, Telepresence & Biotelematic Art. Genesis. Translating a sentence from the bible into Morse Code, and further into DNA gene code - which is then used to create new genes... These are put into a petri-dish and put on display. Through the web, people can turn on UV light on location - in time, this modifies the genetic code - then 'decoded' and translated into wording.. Voila - the text changes slightly!
