Okay, I don't know what to think of this photo of my new assistant Tane Gent, but it was taken by my friend Rene Smith when they went on a lover's romp through a field of flowers in France.
"Hey let's take photos of each other!" Rene squealed. "Okay! Me first!" shouted Tane. And then the game was on. We could hear Rene's voice singing across the flowers, "No Tane, get behind THAT flower, okay make me love you make me love you, now make me hate you! No, it's just not working Tane, I don't find this believable. NOW make me love you again!" And then Rene took this photo.
Here's our FlixBus tour bus! Photos of the outside and inside... what a great home base for us. The bottom floor has a bar, a lounge, and the kitchen. Halfway up the stairs is a bathroom (no number 2's allowed Rene Smith!). Then the top floor has two lounges, the bedrooms, and a home theater where we are watching a lot of geeky and funny movies!
Next up on the tour is Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Moscow, then ending in Frankfurt to spend the day with Hans Zimmer and the giant 40,000 seat concert. I'm so excited! See our full tour schedule at 80stays.treyratcliff.com/

And last... here's random photo 15/15 of people I am seeing here in Russia... I actually have a lot more, but I'll end it now! I don't really have much of a description for this photo, just like I don't have a good description of most of what I saw and experienced there! I'll put all these photos and maybe a few more into a Facebook album soon.
Here's 2/15. We stopped in an old cafe with classical Soviet-era cuisine. This girl was checking her phone while eating some borscht.

In Moscow, we stopped in a really pretty shopping mall and this girl was sitting on a bench waiting on her friends.
Photo 9/15 from Russian streets... Just after arriving at the train station in St. Petersburg, we had a delightful breakfast at a French-styled cafe. When we got back on the street, I saw this cute boy and his mom.
As soon as our train rolled into the station in St. Petersburg, we got out and went to breakfast at a great place. Sitting near us was this interesting-looking girl who was a local. That got me started on a long day of taking photos of interesting people here and there. And they all seemed happy to have their photos taken, except for this one old lady at an ice cream machine.

Here's 8/15 - I talked with this really nice gentleman at a small cafe. We had eggs topped with caviar! He was watching me take photos of the cafe cat and was smiling, giving me the only thumbs up he had. I sat with him for a while and he said he hurt his hand while working on his bathroom at home. I told him it wasn't a very exciting story and he should really make something up... like he was fighting a bear or something. He barely spoke any English... but we understood one another. You know this book The Alchemist? Where there's only one language? Yes, I believe in this! When he left the cafe, he turned around and smiled nicely, giving me one final thumbs up.

Here's 6/15 of cool stuff in Russia. These two are from Eastern Russia, but they came to St. Petersburg just to take their wedding photos. I asked the photographer if I could swoop in for a few.
