Stagecoach East Midlands, Scania N230UD/ADL Enviro 400, 15178 (YN64 AOY), is seen parked on Grimsby depot on 26th August 2018.
Following the arrival of 5 ex Mansfield E300s, the five Interconnect Scania E400s are due to transfer to Worksop (after repaint). This and 15177 are the last two that remain at Grimsby, although they should both depart this coming week.

10898 departs Lincoln bus station with a 100 as far as Gainsborough only. Parked up behind it is similar vehicle 10899, which normally wouldn't be there when there's another 100 in Lincoln, but the diversion delays could quite easily have made two of them bunch up together. Having said that, recently there have been numerous instances of 67 plate MMCs turning up on the 107 in place of a Beachball (or Local) liveried decker, so equally it could have come in on a 107.

The extensive network of CallConnect routes built around Lincolnshire County Council’s InterConnect trunk routes mainly operate on an on-demand basis. Stagecoach’s 53 in Market Rasen is a perfect example of the connectivity offered by this arrangement, with a number of CallConnect routes prefixed 53 linking various villages with the trunk route on an as-necessary basis. The 53L, which criss-crosses the Lincolnshire Wolds, is something of an exception, featuring a number of timetable journeys.
With the Church of St Mary and St Peter visible, TC Minicoaches Fiat Ducato FL63CZE is seen in Ludford as it operates the 10:00 Market Rasen-Louth 53L (denoted by the piece of paper, rather than the destination blind). TC Minicoaches are one of the main providers behind the CallConnect network. The vehicle would have operated into Market Rasen as the 09:30 ex Binbrook 53X which calls at Kirmond le Mire, Ludford, Tealby, and North Willingham by request. Further timetable journeys exist on this service at 13:10 Louth-Market Rasen and 13:40 Market Rasen-Louth. Ludford is additionally linked with Grimsby on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays by Stagecoach service 25.
Another visitor from Gainsborough, on the 100 this time, is Enviro 400 MMC 10899. It is seen passing Skeg-based 18416 as it departs the bus station.

This could of been angled better. There's not much you can do when you are close to a bus which is about to pull up right next to you. I do ask, is this the future for the Lincolnshire "Interconnect" network? Grimsby have eclipses but used to have scania E400s, Gainsborough have E400s but they're MMCs. Scunthorpe don't actually run an interconnect route from their depot but they have 2 interconnect vykings running local routes. Lincoln has a scania E400 in Interconnect livery, i think. I've never rode on of these "new" interconnect buses, maybe i'll get a ride on them next year.
Shame there isn't any fair this year, we'd probably see loads of these on the P&R.

This vehicle appeared on Grimsby depot at the end of last week, and is currently on loan from Skegness. It spent the bank holiday weekend parked on depot before seeing use on Interconnect 51 (Grimsby-Louth) today.

19206, but this time it's what you might reasonably call daylight even if it was 20 past 5 in the evening - the sky is blue, after all. This makes it my best photo to date of this bus, seen pulling off from the layover bays in Lincoln bus station in order to loop round to the stands and take up a 56 to Horncastle and Skegness on 12.3.21
After an absence of a few months, the InterConnect liveried Scanias have begun appearing on the 56 again, alongside the all-ADL purples and the other stuff they chuck on it from time to time. I've seen at least two different Geminis at Lincoln depot over the past month, so I don't know what the deal with those are.
So 15811, first Scania I've seen on the 56 in a little while, is here in Lincoln bus station on 3.2.21 with the Beachball-style logo and lack of face coverings banner on the front, while some rude E200 MMC comes in from behind with its lights blazing, about to park up right in front of the Scania.

So far this is the only InterConnect livery E400 I've seen that has the lilac strip between the headlights but without black headlight clusters.
Uhhhh, it seems i'm running out of photos to upload.
It looks like this is a regular on the Long Sutton outstation. 1 year ago Stagecoach East Midlands got some transfers from Stagecoach Oxford for use on the long sutton services. These where first used on the Hull Fair park and rides just as they were put into the InterConnect livery. I didn't get any of the ex oxford scanias last year, sadly.
Seen leaving Skegness bus station likely to run dead to the depot is scania enviro 400, 15614.
A Bassetlaw branded Dart did the 106 into Lincoln on 28.1.21 and I got a photo of it setting off from the bus station on the 107 run back to Gainsborough. These 106s/107s have always been double deckers up until recently, but now they keep putting Darts on them.
And there it is - the final 12 plate Scania out of a quartet formerly branded for the Skegness to Lincoln InterConnect 6, seen in Lincoln on the service it used to be branded for (albeit renumbered 56). 15810 completes the set for me of seeing 15808/09/10/11 all work the 56 into Lincoln, which is great since I only ever saw 15811 in the original branding style.
Nowadays these are uncommon on the route, with 57 plate all-ADL Enviro 400s being the norm in either plain purple/white or generic InterConnect 'connecting people with places' branding, which doesn't actually mention any routes or places. These, plus the random mix of Geminis and E400s in Beachball, Local or de-branded purple livery provide an incredibly diluted image of InterConnect 56 which is a far cry from the prominent branding once carried by these Scanias.

Departing for Gainsborough on route 100 is 18418, seen just as it leaves the bus station in the full sunshine. Unlike 17719 this bus hasn't had a spruce-up and the back especially looks bad where the Peterborough Citi graphics have been removed. The sunshine makes it look smart though and the wheels are clean and have the wheel trims (well, three of them do, one is missing).

After the MMC on the 107, to then get an ALX400 Trident on the 100 40 minutes later felt like the reward for sticking around. 55 plate 18335 passes along in front of Lincoln bus station, working the evening 100 to Gainsborough only, in place of one of the usual MMCs (in place of 10899 because it was on the 107, probably!). This had the unintended bonus of me getting my best pictures of this vehicle so far, and the first ones of it on my DSLR too.
Unusually for a Gainsborough vehicle, this one lacks front wheel trims, plus it has rear trims but not front ones! Still, I'd say it looks the part. There's no offside advert or side fleet names, and the front Stagecoach logo isn't faded, so very presentable despite being just over 15 years old.

Hello Lolly the Seasider!
In 2014, Stagecoach launched six open toppers in Skegness, called the Skegness Seasiders. This scheme was a huge success, as it won Stagecoach a Gold award at the UK Bus Awards for the Best Marketing Initiative for 2014.
Rocky and his friends have made friends with 4 new buses this year. Four Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini's have been converted to open top. Here we see Lolly, one of the 2 Cleethorpes Seasiders at Thorpe Park. Lolly will be joined by Splash, and together they will form the Cleethorpes Seasiders!

The Scania is heading down to Middle Rasen to turn around, having terminated on the 53B, before going back to Grimsby as the 0842 53 - meanwhile the E300 is loading up for the 0835 53 back to Lincoln, having previously come from there on the 53A.

On this occasion, it was making a surprise appearance on the Lincoln to Grimsby 'Interconnect' 53.

Luckily a Lincoln scania arrived in Grimsby after doing a 53. This wore the "Keep Britain tidy" livery, on one side it said "Protect our marine life, protect us". On the other side it said "Love our country, keep Britain tidy". It's a shame that livery isn't around today, alas all good things have to come to an end.
Seen parked up doing nothing after doing a 53 from Lincoln is scania enviro 400, 15656. Due to a driver shortage, the Lincoln depot is fully operating the 53.
I had to wait a while for this one, since the parking spot it was in proved to be a little awkward to photograph. Still, here's a winner on the 53 to Grimsby with Eclipse 21265. Both Skeg and Grimsby Eclipses one hour apart is extremely good going! One ex-First and one ex-Road Car too, plus this one's in Beachball livery, which is an increasingly rare thing... seems strange it's Eclipses they've gone mad with repainting, given they're extremely nonstandard.

Skegness InterConnect liveried Enviro 400 19196 is seen here on Norman Street, Lincoln, unusually working Lincoln route 31X to Sleaford, which it doesn't have the blind programmed for. I assume this happened because it was at Lincoln for repair and they ended up using it on a Lincoln service before sending it back to Skeg, maybe the next day.
Something different, anyway.
