¿¿ Aracnofobia yo ??
Muchas gracias ¡¡¡
Big thanks ¡¡

Juvenile Tricolored Heron
The juveniles eventually lose much of the rust coloring, with only a bit of the hue peeping through the slate blue feathers as they age. The eyes of the juveniles are a yellowish-white, turning brown with pink inner margins into adulthood. Males and females of the species look alike.
Juvenile Tri-Colored Heron
From Audubon:
On the southeastern coastal plain, the Tricolored Heron is a characteristic bird of quiet shallow waters. Strikingly slender, with long bill, neck, and legs, it is often seen wading belly-deep in coastal lagoons. Although it is solitary in its feeding, it is sociable in nesting, often in very large colonies with various other herons and egrets. Formerly known as Louisiana Heron.

Many thanks for stopping by to view and comment on my photos. It is very much appreciated and welcome.
And I was gazing at her never ending curves, her magnificent back with intensity, mesmerized by her beauty and confidence while innocently playing with her glass of wine... If she would turn around and say that she'd have to charge rent for how bad I was looking at her, I would gladly answer to her 'I'll pay"...
Yesterday, while Lya was working on a picture idea she wanted to suprise me with, I decided to work on one too, but not sharing what my idea was either. For once, we wanted to discover the other's work once all done and edited. And what a suprise that was when we noticed our pictures could have been taken at the same place, with the exact same context, like both pictures together are forming a little story ! Like it was meant to be ♥

Timid girl black dress with hair tied back
Just how I like it
Miracle hourglass shape lady is this perfect timing?
Why don't you stay
Here tonight
Destiny called as we locked into each other's eyes
Fate told me woman like you are one of a kind
Confident sexy in the heels you walking in
In the presence of novelist
I'm losing my mind
And I know that love is hard to find
So why don't you stay
Here tonight

An intent and intense stare of the wondrous Falcon.
Adult falcons have thin, tapered wings, which enable them to fly at high speed and change direction rapidly. Fledgling falcons, in their first year of flying, have longer flight feathers, which make their configuration more like that of a general-purpose bird such as a broad-wing.
This makes flying easier while learning the exceptional skills required to be effective hunters as adults

This American Crow was so concentrated on something in the marsh that he did not notice me approaching very closely. When he finally noticed me, he hopped a couple of times further away, and continued his surveillance of the marsh.
His eyes must have been better than my old eyes because I saw nothing that might have commanded his intent gaze (If I did see it, I would have photographed THAT! LoL).

In the pre-dawn a moose cow and her calf watch me intently, one naïve with curiosity, the other full of mistrust and protective hormones. This is not the greatest quality, but I loved the body language of these two, and the early fall colors that backed their appearance. I spent several hours removing the lines of a net that keeps errant volleyballs from running downhill from this court. A bull moose, possibly the calf’s father, was munching on aspen leaves down the hill from these two. The previous day these 3 and a 4th moose (cow) spent significant time on the volleyball court, evidently enjoying several games before I stopped by to see what was going on.
Saludos.

Mark this one down to identifiable Sandhill Crane behavior.
I had no end of delight showing this to others while at Creamer's Field during the autumn crane migration from Alaska to the lower 48. The behavior being exhibited by the crane to the left is "Intent to fly," that is, it is telling the others in its group that it wants to fly away and is pointing in the direction of flight. Note how the neck is more of a diagonal than the other two cranes. Less than two seconds after displaying this posture, the small group of cranes took to the air. There were a few times where the small group - sometimes just two - decided not to fly off. When the group agrees, they all assume this "leaning" posture and then fly off. When one in the group doesn't want to fly they don't change their posture, essentially saying, "Yeah, not right now."
Taken 21 August 2021 at Creamer's Field, Fairbanks, Alaska.
Lucy intently watches me as I was preparing to work in the yard, seeing I always have my camera readily available, I photographed her with that " look " in her eye. She's such a pleasure to have around and I love that dog !!
The sinuous line of each branch of a tree follows the sun, twisting and turning, curving and bending in ways that escape us. What intent is at work here, what design?

FELIZ SÁBADO ANIMAL
_________________________________________

For years this old house was obscured with all manner of junked vehicles and junk in general. You could see the roofline but not much else. Normally in these situations, things improve once the junk is hauled off. Not in this case. If anything the cleanup only served to reveal the true malevolence of the place. I photographed the house a few months ago on a bright winter day. Even in that cheerful light it made me uneasy. Feelings like this are not always relatable. It's partly based on the visual. But more so on the visceral. In this case sort of a blend between crime scene and haunted house. Perhaps even one leading to the other. I had forgotten all about the house until I happened by here yesterday on a cold and gloomy day. Wonderful synchronicity in the timing. Not just the weather, but also my itchiness to create. It's not unlike how prosecutors attempt to prove guilt in criminal case: establishing motive, means and opportunity. In this analogy, I can take photos under any one of those conditions, but it's pure magic when all three coincide. And how fitting a metaphor in this case, a shadowy old house and soon-to-be vacant lot. I wonder if buried bodies will be discovered when the house is razed.

”In the end, we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. We will understand only what we are taught.” – Baba Dioum
"The photo is the hunt. It’s the instinct of hunting without the desire to kill. It’s the hunt of angels… you track, you aim, you fire and-click! Instead of a dead man, you make him eternal." - Chris Marker
“ "Sport" hunting is a sickness, a perversion and a danger and should be recognised as such.
People who get their 'amusement' from hunting and killing defenceless animals can only be suffering from a mental disorder.
In a world with boundless opportunities for amusement, it's detestable that anyone would choose to get thrills from killing others who ask for nothing from life but the chance to remain alive. ” Sir Roger Moore
