A very simple Photograph but i loved the look on their faces as they sat once the music stopped.A striking contradiction between when they are playing the instrument with Pomp and when they are done playing it waiting for the next job

An old piano waiting for someone to bring it back to life.

I found this river a few nights ago, I've driven past it many times but somehow I've never noticed the waterfalls. This isn't the only one, there are many waterfalls there, each with its own look and sound. Just above this one there is a tall waterfall which proved difficult to photograph, the spray from it gave a nice drop-effect on every shot I took there.

Hope you are all well and cliking ! :-)

Fender Stratocaster. A guitar with a history. This Strat belongs to my daughter and how it came to be hers is interesting. When she was about 14 years old she went to a 4-H youth camp and while there she came in contact with a counselor who gave guitar lessons and she was hooked so we bought her an acoustic guitar and signed her up for regular lessons. During her time of lessons she drew a picture of herself playing an electric guitar and that guitar was a magenta/pink/red colored Fender Stratocaster. One day while out shopping she convinced me to go into a Pawn shop and there it was... the exact same guitar she had drawn in her picture in that weird magenta/pink/red color! It had been pawned by a musician down on his luck. The shop keeper told us he had the Strat painted to match his girlfriend's favorite fingernail polish. Pretty cool stuff, but just to add to it, we were able to track the year of the Strat and it was created in 1989.... the same year my daughter was born. Same color as her picture, same year she was born. So I ask, was it a fluke we walked into the pawn shop that day? :)

This 'Jack-of-all-trades' instrument serves as an integrated back-up on our planes. It has its own battery to be totally independent from the airplane's electric system. And, see - it is 'Glass' too! To keep up with the trends :)

The Bouzouki Shop, Athens. I bought a flute in this shop, a souravli in the first row in the case. As for the stringed instruments, those in the upper right are tzouras, and the smaller ones below them are baglamas. The larger one mid left (with the white pick guard) is a bouzouki. I bought a tzouras in another shop which seemed to have a wider selection.
