USAHS Instructor, Mo Johnson, and OT students volunteered at the US Open Adaptive Surfing Championship in Oceanside, CA to represent USAHS and support our Alumni, Kelly Twichel and Eric Packard in the unveiling of their new Beach Trax prototype, a portable pathway for wheelchairs allowing surfers easy access to and from the ocean. This two day event was put on by the Stoke for Life Foundation and brought over 35 competitors representing 6 countries.
