Students in Kakuma refugee camp, Kenya using tablets from Instant Classroom, the Vodafone Foundation’s ‘digital school in a box’.
Two Instant Classroom units were delivered to Kakuma in July 2015 to connect Greenlight Secondary School and the community library to the internet giving students access to free digital educational resources. The Instant Classroom is shipped in a secure and robust 52kg case which is equipped with a laptop, 25 tablets pre-loaded with educational software, a projector, a speaker and a hotspot modem with 3G connectivity. The tablets can connect to the laptop locally, enabling teachers to deliver content and applications to students without the need to access the internet. All the components can be charged simultaneously from a single power source while the case is locked. After 6-8 hours of charging time, the Instant Classroom can be used for a full day in a classroom without access to electricity.
The portable nature of the equipment has allowed for Instant Classroom to be moved between schools, enabling more students to benefit from tablet based learning.

sometimes I wonder if I lived in the 60-70's would I finally fit in, or would I also feel like this ugly monster? I feel like in that time the age of Aquarius had this atmosphere where others were free and accepting. For instance, janis joplin would just be totally ostracized in this time for being real. I am losing hope and I've felt this way for over 15 years in my life!

La tarde se viste de oro y grana,el sol comienza a salir de la nube que lo cubre ,sus colores se intensifican ,yo desde lo alto contemplo éste bello espectáculo de la naturaleza...fué un bello atardecer trinitario...
Para empezar tengo que decir que estas imagenes son mias y de mi hijo echedey-Pqueñofotografo...son fotos casin si retoques que solo quieren ser una muestra de esos instantes vividos por este bello grupo familiar en "el troncon"...

Vintage 1979-1982. Kodak lost a bundle on these cameras when they were sued by Polaroid for a patent infringement. You'll sometimes see these in yard sales with no name plate. The reason being that as part of the Polaroid settlement, Kodak had to stop making the instant film. When owners of these "Kodaroids" (as they were sometimes called,) sent the logo from their camera to Eastman, they received a discount coupon that could be used to buy a different Kodak camera.
These cameras are plentiful on the secondary market and have practically zero value.
