"Nunca te acostumbres a la vida. Toma cada día como un nuevo comienzo, como una oportunidad única para descubrir algo perfecto. "

Desde mi ventana al norte veo el mar y por ahí los atardeceres, pero mi ventana al éste tiene la vista hacia la ciudad desde ella veo cada día salir el sol ,éste es otro de mis amaneceres..
Diana Instant Back+ got to me today. It's a great item!
FUJI FILM instax mini 7S (Cheki choco) + close-up lens
I picked up this photo at a tag sale over the weekend. I don't know anything about the woman. The names of the people whose estate this came from were Atha and Mockler. There were hundreds of photographs, civil war through the depression. I bought all I could afford. I hate to see people's family photos being sold.
I loved this lady and her pensive letter-reading.
This postcard is unmarked.. and is actually crooked on the frame like that.

Trying polaroid back on a Super Graphic, works pretty well. The ground glass on Graphic is pretty dim though, hard to focus, especially with a jacket as focusing cloth :)
“There are not too many fables about man's misuse of sunflower seeds.”

An iPhone photograph of my Instax instant film photo of a sunflower, next to the real sunflower that I photographed.
A standard length mattress almost fits into the back of a Volvo V70/XC70. Great for instant 'camping' maybe. Maybe not.
The mattress is off to the local waste centre - they have introduced an appointment system so don't forget, and don't be late!
The Instant Lab experimenting continues. I added a pretty intense three-colored gradient over this (very light) image and these were the results. This isn’t what I was hoping for but it does give me a better idea of how the Impossible film responds to different colors.
Minolta 16 SpyCam, about 1961. This roll of film was inside the camera when I bought it. The roll was in bad condition. It was in a Minolta 16 cassette, still sealed with Minolta tape, and was Kodacolor 200 C-41 film, so after about 1973 or so. I developed it in b&w HC-110B developer. These are the Instant Ancestors that appeared. It is a party of some sort.

Students in Kakuma refugee camp, Kenya using tablets from Instant Classroom, the Vodafone Foundation’s ‘digital school in a box’.
Two Instant Classroom units were delivered to Kakuma in July 2015 to connect Greenlight Secondary School and the community library to the internet giving students access to free digital educational resources. The Instant Classroom is shipped in a secure and robust 52kg case which is equipped with a laptop, 25 tablets pre-loaded with educational software, a projector, a speaker and a hotspot modem with 3G connectivity. The tablets can connect to the laptop locally, enabling teachers to deliver content and applications to students without the need to access the internet. All the components can be charged simultaneously from a single power source while the case is locked. After 6-8 hours of charging time, the Instant Classroom can be used for a full day in a classroom without access to electricity.
The portable nature of the equipment has allowed for Instant Classroom to be moved between schools, enabling more students to benefit from tablet based learning.

Lovely young lady checking to see how her pictures are turning out. Waikiki Beach, Honolulu, Hawaii.
I picked up this photo at a tag sale over the weekend. I don't know anything about the girls... or the little boy!(?) Or is it two boys and a girl? I figure two girls and a boy. Or three girls? I don't know. >_> They have sweet faces, either way.

I thought these kids were so cute. This cabinet card is marked "Israel Forman, Photography Art Studio, Main Street, Fairmont, W.Va. Copyright 1889."
On a map, Main Street in Fairmont appears to be mostly vacant of buildings.
EDIT: I found another photo of these girls over a year later!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy!!!
