A stick insect from Ecuador. I saw several of these during night hikes in habitats ranging from forest to gardens. Perhaps the colors serve as a warning that it has a unpleasant taste or is poisonous to consume, either way I didn't find out.
EDIT: Thanks to Bruno Kneubuehler, this has been IDed as a adult male Monticomorpha flavolimbata.

Possibly a Grass Veneer of some sort, but all these things look the same to me, and my poor photography doesn't help.
This was day flying (or at least easily disturbed) in an upland habitat of mixed grass, gorse and bracken. HMM!
Ein Netzflügler. Sowohl die Larven als auch die erwachsenen Tiere leben räuberisch von kleinen Insekten.
About an inch long. Waterlogged and trying to recover right at the edge of the shore.
