Explorando este tramo del río, me encuentro de nuevo con esta especie: Cordulegaster boltonii, que fotografié por primera vez, cuatro días atrás en el río Vinalopó. Macho que se prestó para esta cenital y con la alegría que conlleva fotografiar de nuevo a esta especie, fue en aquel rincón del río Lentegí.

Fue llegar a la zona que frecuentaba este macho de Orthetrum brunneum, coloqué este posadero, me vuelvo al sitio donde tenía la cámara sobre el trípode, y al girarme ya estaba allí. ¡Y que bien acompañado! Fue una muy grata sorpresa.

Se hace visible en esta ocasión, fue después de verla cuando se metía entre la vegetación, ésta formaba una especie de túnel sin salida, como un pasillo o hueco, allí buscaba la zona sombría para posarse, con los rayos del sol iluminando el fondo, más la utilización del flash hizo que pudiera plasmar este instante. Digo adiós al año, con esta Libellula depressa que presume de sus marrones (cara, ojos, tórax…), de su ancho y aplanado abdomen, y de su lujosa pruinosidad, ese luminoso azul claro, que da esperanza, que da ilusión para este, a punto de nacer, 2022.

Con un intenso color anaranjado en la etapa inmadura, esta hembra de Ischnura pumilio, también posee el color naranja en la parte del abdomen, en los segmentos S1, S2 y un tercio del S3, es parecida a la hembra de I. graellsii de la forma “aurantiaca”, así son los comienzos de su vida.
