This is a carpet beetle they are 3mm in size

Megachile sp., Megachilidae. 2716 Dutch Lane, McKean Township, Licking County, Ohio.

I'm happy I was able to snap a shot of this ant on a stem, he was moving really fast at times. I used a 21mm extension tube on my EF50mm f/1.8 II lens for this shot.

Thanks to Maureen and Ken for the very helpful ID. The larvae will defoliate roses and damage young shoots so it is best to keep a watch for them and destroy.
