If you look at any ole' Old Town canoe, you'll see the inner stem is thin and uniform, coming to an abrupt end. In a Willits, on the other hand, every edge is slightly rounded, and the inner stem is splayed, slightly widening as it enters the boat.
Willits No. 765 and No. 813, from 1949 and 1951, respectively. 765 has been completely restored to a lustrous sheen, while 813 retains its 60 year old varnish (plus many additional layers which have begun peeling away over the years).
The inner door section after it's new paint. I'll be ordering some nice new door ajar switches to replace the old painted ones , infact I have all new badges , mirrors , rocker panels , lenses and weatherstrips to replace once I get the car back.

Residents, merchants and community members joined the Department of Public Works and Supervisor Ross Mirkarimi in the early morning hours of Saturday, August 9th to clean up streets throughout the Inner Sunset and Upper Haight neighborhoods. Over 60 volunteers painted out graffiti, cleaned tree basins, picked up litter, and swept sidewalks from Upper Haight to 19th Avenue, including Lincoln, Irving, and Judah streets, and the Cole Valley area.

The Innenhafen (Inner Harbour) is connected to the Rhine River, encompasses an area of 89ha. For over a hundred years during the high point of the Industrial Revolution, it was the central harbour and trading point of the town. Since the mid 1960s, the importance of the harbour declined and it lay in a disused condition for 20 years, before plans for renovation were drawn up. This former industrial area has been fundamentally transformed, a process which started as a part of the International Building Exhibition Emscher Park (IBA) which ran from 1989 until 1999.
The basis for this model of development in the Ruhr district was delivered in 1994 by the British architect Norman Foster. Since then, the Inner Harbor has transformed itself into a district combining employment, housing, culture and water-based leisure activities. Today, the Inner Harbour is both an industrial monument and a main stop on the Route der Industriekultur.
