I really liked the light in this panorama picture The sky's colors are beautiful. It was the best one I took during our 10th grade China Trip to Inner Mongolia - a fun trip! We can kind of see the rule of thirds and I like that you can see the road and how it goes forward, positioning. The mountains also give us lines so the eye wants to look at the peaks further away. I also like that you can see the wall in the right corner, that makes it more alive I think, you can easier relate to where I was the moment I shoot the picture(s). This picture is from the beginning 6 different pictures that are stitched together.

Just outside of Austin, there is an extensive set of caverns called Inner Space. We took a 3/4 mile tour, but there are 5 miles of caves that you can explore. A couple of the rooms were enormous--it just amazes me that whole rooms and worlds exist like that under the surface. There are lots of beautiful stalagmites and stalactites and the caverns that are continuing to grow. Supposedly touching them will stop their growth because the oils from your skin prevent the minerals from depositing on the rock. It's interesting to think of rock to be living in that sense.

Atop the descent of the Cathedral Steps, a steep drop down the Hermit Trail of the Grand Canyon, dropping down a fault in the Redwall Limestone.
This section alone is a drop of 1200 feet in elevation...
