Inktober day 4! This one took longer so I couldn't put it out yesterday.

Mindless

So I drew Kuraymi because he’s stupid 😂

Lol anyway when he’s in the form he has no mind basically and my goal this Inktober is to only draw people and to draw my characters or people from my world

And yeah what better than to draw a guy made out of ink for inktober!

Hope you guys like!

Inktober day 2, Mindless, I really didn't spend like anytime on this.....

Inspired by a free Pixabay photo. I was testing my markers. Artline 0.05 produces a thinner line than the Microns.

this bouquet gets more interesting every day.

This is based on my photo of the trees near here in Brugmann Park.

Lots of ornamental bits and pieces in art nouveau architecture. This is the top floor of the Maison Saint Cyr as it looks in Street View (for sale!):

I was inspired to draw these beautiful "Figues de Barbarie" I found at the supermarket. But are they ripe?

Inktober2019 #built

My Moleskine leporello was in the goodie bag from the Urban Sketches Symposium in Barcelona 2013. And the most obvious building for "built" is the Sagrada Familia. Behind my pike I drew a waterfall as a transition to the pond in front of the Sagrada.

Inktober día 10: " FÁBRICA".

Una ilustración a tinta con acabado digital.

Callie is doing a little better.

i prestamped this spread with one of my friend Joan's stamps.

I sketched while Bill went grocery shopping

This is from back in Roman days when even "weights" were beautifully crafted.

#inktober2019 Day 27

This is one of a bunch of leeks from the Waterloo Farmer's Market. A young woman from Cedar Rapids grew them on her Iowa City acreage. Everything that we've gotten from her has been superb. The farmers market is over until May 2020. I look forward to her coming back next year.

A sleepy little worm was enjoying a nice book at a dock. Little does he know....

For some reason, this word always reminds me of the "Don't tread on me" flag from the American Revolution.

This one puzzled me for a while before I came up with the insect idea. This is based on some free Pixabay photos.

Used Pelikan ink with the Blanzy dip pens I found at the "brocante". Also some water to disperse the ink and create that fun blue color. White to try to fix the mess...

Another quickie to try to finish the month which I hate leaving unfinished. Just three to go.

I'm finally doing Inktober this year! For day one I decided to go with a cute lil Minotaur

Renaissance style.

Thanks Martine for use of your photo from the Renaissance festival :)

I've had a love affair with zinnias ever since I planted them in my community garden plot in Minneapolis 41 years ago. Drawing them from direct observation has become a bit of an obsession, too. All those petals! #inktober2019 Day 13

From photo that I took yesterday night.

Another one from the stuffed animal collection at the Africa Museum (for MH).

I was so impressed by the size of this animal. An adult hippopotamus weighs 1,400 kilos on average and can run 30 km/hr.
