Wall of mixed ink colours stored (and I use that term loosely) in Tim Horton's cups. I converted this to B&W because the colour shot was too much. It made my eyes hurt. (you can thank me later)
Here I have inked the linoblock with India ink. It gets sucks into the linoleum a bit, but it's much better than the version that had traced carbon paper lines.
Next step is cutting out the linoleum that isn't covered by ink.

These Inks are from England and were made in the late 1800's , maybe even the early 1900s. Sheer top - no attention was paid to the appearance of the closure so long as the cork fit.
Just some ink and milk... and magic... and a duck appear... ;)

Here are the ink cartridges in my new Brother multifunction device. I can replace any one color as it runs out! I put a measuring tape across the door for a size comparison. This is the big machine, so the cartridges are larger than the ones in my mother's 8.5 x 11 unit.
I wouldn't class myself as a huge Noodler's fan, but I have more of their ink than anyone else's. I like having the option of bulletproof ink should I need it.
While home for the holidays I spent some time in Webster Groves, Missouri, where my novel I'm in the process of rewriting is set. I felt better about the setting being there; everything sort of clicked and felt exactly as it should there.
This block was where the family in my book lives.
pure, black, india ink. midnite in a bottle... i just need to make sure it hasn't settled or separated. plus, this is how i get my "game face" on. Plus, plus... drink rhymes with ink.
