Diamine Orange ink reviewed on normal photocopier paper. This is not a scan but a photograph, taken by natural light. I've tried processing this photo to make it look as close to what my eyes see as possible but I wasn't 100% successful. The sample on Staples journal seems to be more accurate. This TOPS pad (20490 V2) from Staples handled ink admirably though my current ink rotation could use some brighter colors.
Spent last Saturday at the Ink'n'Iron festival in Nashville. It's a mix between a classic car, tattoo and rockabilly convention. The former of which was really interesting. Amazing cars and choppers.
An experiement in re-dying ugly polymer beads with alcohol inks to make them look prettier. The end result wasn't as good as I hoped. Still ugly.

Original drawn with Pilot capless fountain pen using Diamine Ancient copper ink, converted into a black and white negative image.

very inexpensive (4 RMB ≈ 0.57 USD / 60ml)
NOT for a fountain pen, but more suitable for dip pens
Instead of using a brush in creating his "shan shui", " mountain and water" Chinese ink painting, this old artist only uses his ink-dipped finger.

The bottle was filled with ink diluted water and shot with a rifle (Anschütz 5,6 22 Magnum ;-). A self built sound controlled electronic circuit fired the flash after the shot. Camera was on a tripod with long shutter speed.
Below the bottle was a desk pad which provided the reflection.
The picture was shot with a Minolta XD7 and later scanned with a Coolscan 4000 ED.
