Macro Mondays - Made of Metal
Happy Macro Monday everyone.
Look what I found whilst emptying the dishwasher this morning ... tiz one of those little tea infuser ball thingies, just big enough for a teaspoon of loose tea.

I have always been influenced by the art of George Tooker.
His rendering the psychology of isolation we all experience in the metropolis.
Infused with unease we each keep to ourself.
With a pinch of Creekside Photog spice.
The red lights remind my wife of John Marin's "street movement NY" 1932 with it's dynamism, forward tilt, and sparkle.
I like how in this wide open arena everything is so compressed.
and how the red / green / red lights form the internal framing.
...one man went right, the other two in through that door, and one ran past me --- and there I was again - alone in the city...
This spring I imagine I rise above the clouds
and I fly around the entire planet
spreading billions and billions of petals.
These petals are infused with magical power.
The power to awaken a beautiful seed that's inside each one's heart.
Not only in some but in everyone's hearts.
It's the seed of Unconditional Love.
We all have it there.
Many of us have it hidden under layers and layers.
The walls that we built as we grew up
defending ourselves from pain after pain.
But we all can do it.
We can peel those layers,
we just have to look inside, deep deep inside.
It may be hard at the beginning,
but as you let go of the walls you built,
you start to find the power that lies inside your heart,
and you find the true beauty in you and those around you.
When you find the magic of unconditional love,
which starts by unconditional self-love,
you discover that Planet Earth is one single living being
and we are all little cells enjoying unique purposes as part of the whole.
We are all one, sweethearts,
it's time to wake up.
If each one wakes up the seed of unconditional love that's inside each one's heart,
we then wake up the seed that's in Humanity's Heart,
and world peace is achieved.
Can you imagine it?
It is in my hands, just like in your hands.
More than just imagine, let's do it ♥

Infusiasm = enthusiasm for infusion.
This little tea infuser is definitely fit for purpose. I was fixated on coffee for about 24 hours and then switched my choice for the MM theme at the eleventh hour. Actually, it is quite literally the eleventh hour - well past and catapulting towards midnight. So enough with the babble and on with the brew. HMM to you all!

In the traditional art of drinking "Ostfriesentee" in a specific region in the Nort-West of Germany, Rock Candys (Kluntje) is put in the glass, a carefully composed mix of black teas served on it, and finally a small shot of cream is added, but you don't mix, letting the flavors develop progressively, as the sugar dissolves into the tea.
The traditional "Ika Tokkuri" sake bottles are made from sun-dried squid.
When warm sake is poured into the Ika Tokkuri it absorbs the salty flavors from the dried squid.
After a few rounds of sake, the dry squid is then slice for grilling and it tastes like the sake-infused jerky. Very interesting.

This should mess up your mind a bit. This is how I feel the last few days. Lightheaded and no energy sort of thing.
This baby was a great deal of work. Once again it is NOT an ICM. Blur effect and using a layer mask to remove and or add blur back in.
