Design of the signage system for the new WHS building
Over the past twelve years, I've collected nearly every movie ticket I've ever bought. I've placed them in a special box, and have never revisited them. Until now. For this project, I decided to finally open the box and investigate the contents. I began by cataloging each ticket and investigating the different relationships between them. I researched the movies, conducted an accounting of my own spending, personal tastes, and movie-going habits. This data was then given visual form, and compiled into a 53-page bound volume. The dimensions of the book are derived from a movie screen, and the color scheme is based upon the RGB additive color model utlized by film projection systems.

Computational Information Design
The ability to collect and store data continues to increase, but our ability to understand it remains unchanged. Data visualization makes use of our evolutionary proclivity for decoding visual images and employs this ability as a high-bandwidth means of getting data into our heads. In this talk, I'll present work I've developed ranging from illustrations of data for magazines and journals to software tools used by geneticists to interactive applications for Fortune 10 companies.

One of the services that I offer is remote information visualization. In the case above, I did a web conference with a client and we discussed how to present their value proposition to potential funders. I drew the ideas we touched on in our conversation as we spoke on a virtual whiteboard that we could all see. They used these visualizations as the foundation to create visuals that they could incorporate in their pitch to VCs.
These are sketches-not finished visuals. The point of these is to make sense and provide insight, not to look polished. That can come later.
I removed identifying information about the client I did this for from the visuals for the purpose of posting this publicly.

A set of press releases for Beeline TM is designed with our graphics. We performed sertain versions and sketches of easy, colorful, staffed with infographics and illustrations for it.
Series of slides for the presentation of the "Moscow ring railway". Each slide illustrates a thesis.
"Always at the height" — easy to move across the surface of the earth, without traffic jams, surrounded by well-developed infrastructure.
"Territory of Life" — reflects the idea new impetus to the development of Moscow.
"The orbit of Moscow" — Moscow Ring Railway will connect the various objects of city infrastructure into a single orbit.
Here's what a stem-and-leaf schedule at a Metro bus stop might look like if implemented. Saturday and Sunday schedules are conveniently simplified (depends on route schedule). Estimated travel times and instructions on how to get real-time bus arrival times are provided. I went out to my next door bus stop to measure the actual size of the insert, which coincidentally is for the 255 also.

A piece of information design, mapping my friends and families best intentions from midnight on New Years Eve 2007 throughout the following year. I later decided to send them out to all the people involved as a New Years card for 2008. The communication is as simplified as possible with each participant allocated a colour. This is then applied to he name the resolution and the length of time and sustained effort of each person.
