I have crocheted this bangle in the subways of Hamburg on November 2nd, 9:00 - 14:00.
I crocheted only while riding the subway, in the color of the current subway line.
I started at home, because the beginning is complex (you have to sew, which would be difficult in the subway). Then I started with the red line at "Gänsemarkt", and rode to intersections to switch the color/line.
I rode the subway for so long until the bangle was finished.
Surprisingly, this was exactly at 14:00 on the station "Wandsbeker Chaussee".
The whole experiment lasted 5 hours,
pure crocheting time was: 3 hours 43 minutes.
The bangle was available in my etsy shop.

one day in january ...when the pollution figures went off the charts. life imitating an #infographic.
I have crocheted this bangle while riding the subways of Hamburg
in the period from 8 November till 20 December.
I crocheted only while riding in the subway, in the color of the current subway line.
I started at home, because the beginning is complex
(you have to sew, which would be difficult in the subway).
Every time I went on subway, I crocheted.
I don't use it often (as you can see in the graphic), that's why I took so long to complete the bangle.
The bangle is available in my etsy shop.

How much rain?
This project was developed during the handmade visualization workshop at Breda's MOTI (Museum of the image) The purpose of the visualization is to measure the rain intensity using only simple materials (chalk) and the instructions given in the workshop #hmvtk
The workflow for a particular project had to be documented for all of the different parties to approve and sign off on. Completed in 2004
A visual attempt to cut through abstract figures and economic word-salad of the UK election and answer the question:
How are we going to cut the huge £167 bn budget deficit?

This sketchnote is featured in Eva-Lotta's new book that gathers her sketchnotes from over 100 talks taken at design events and conferences in 2011.
In addition, Eva-Lotta invited 10 of her favourite sketchnoters from all over the world to contribute to the book. They all sketched the same TED talk and created some stunning sketches that show off the wide variety of styles and different ways of summarising content.
Overlapping lines show the interconnections between people and place. Who knows who... demonstrating the "6 degrees of separation" theory.
