In May 2019 we stayed a week in Copenhagen, Denmark, and did a day-trip to Malmö, Sweden, on May 2nd (it takes only about 40 minutes by train)
The tulips were in full bloom then and there were lovely created planting beds everywhere ...

Wir waren im Mai 2019 (wie das Jahr zuvor auch) eine Woche in Kopenhagen und haben dann am 2. Mai (also genau vor zwei Jahren) einen Tagesausflug in das nahegelegene Malmö, Schweden, gemacht (mit dem Zug sind das nur etwa 40 Minuten Fahrtzeit)
Die Tulpen waren gerade in voller Blüte und wir genossen die wunderschön gestalteten Pflanzbeete in der ganzen Stadt

INFORMATION.......
A towering 20ft-high steel sword sculpture has been erected beside a Snowdonia lake.
The bold piece of public art has been situated on the shores of Llyn Padarn, Llanberis, in honour of the Welsh princes.
The hope is that the attraction, which cost £14,000 to commission, will draw locals and tourists from all over the world to take an interest in the history of Gwynedd's indigenous princes, Welsh castles and Wales as a nation.
The sword will be officially “opened” at a ceremony on November 28, 2017, when its name will be revealed by the school council pupils of Ysgol Llanbadarn, Llanberis who had the final say after suggestions were invited from the public.

Pashley is also renowned for fantastic displays of tulips, roses and dahlias. Our annual Tulip Festival features more than 48,000 tulips this year! During Special Rose Week over a hundred varieties of rose swathe the walls, climb obelisks and bloom in flower beds. Then in late summer our Dahlia Days event transforms the gardens once more with bountiful, brightly coloured dahlias in every border and pot.
