Photographed some graffiti and turned it into something my art tutor of bygone times would have no doubt enthused about. Photography back then wasn't quite as flexible and manipulative as it is today!
At West Kirby again,a straight shot this time!,still got those ace clouds though :)
Thanks for looking,
Chris.
The newest bridge on the River Tees is a pedestrian and cycle bridge linking the North Shore devlopment with the University of Durham's Queen's Campus and the Teesdale Business Park.
Infinity
This universe of yours,
Astronomers,
Goes on and on
And on
and on
Till it reaches infinity
Which satisfied you for a while
Then you started thinking
That there may be more than one infinity
Now you talk of an infinity of infinities
And soon I suppose an infinity of infinities of infinities
Then infinity to the power of infinity
And so on until . . .
Oh God, infinity.
I think I will go and live among sheep
They are too placid to be
Kept awake
By worries about infinity.

When you walk through the infinity gate you leave behind you the existence of life, death and rebirth.
The Infinity Bridge is a public pedestrian and cycle footbridge across the River Tees in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees in the north east of England. The bridge is situated one kilometre downriver of Stockton town centre, between the Princess of Wales Bridge and the Tees Barrage and it links the Teesdale Business Park and the University of Durham's Queen's Campus in Thornaby-on-Tees on the south bank of the Tees with the Tees Valley Regeneration's £320 million North Shore development on the north bank
The infinity pool at the Desert Islands Resort on Sir Bani Yas Island is one of those pools where you could spend an entire afternoon without getting bored. The pool was just the right temperature and sitting close to the edge watching the sunset and the sea in the distance was a perfect way to end the day. I just had to come out for a few minutes and capture the moment…

I like these deceptively simple installations. The sculptor, Lucy Humphrey, is an artist / architect whose site-specific concepts are based in environmental land art. This one is a single sheet of stainless steel plate on sandstone. She exhibited Horizon (below) at Sculpture by the Sea in 2013.
“If the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear to man as it is, Infinite.
For man has closed himself up, till he sees all things thro' narrow chinks of his cavern.”
(From "The Marriage of Heaven and Hell" by William Blake)
Between the "Marriage of Heaven and Hell" there is Varanasi (Benaras) giving itself with opened arms, in its magnificent Infinity...ready to be loved...

The Infinity Pool at Marina Bay Sands.
Do you think he could swim off the edge ?? Just wondering.......

the infinity Pool at the Marina Bay Sands Skypark.
Was there with the wife & we were fortunate to be able to get to view the pool. From what I understand, the management only aceded to the request to view the pool after 7pm.

We were part of the 1st 1000 (after the news , it was probably 1st 2000) visitors to visit the Skypark.

I made this out of organic bamboo jersey. It is a dress that can be worn hundreds of ways. I followed the directions on the blog rowena.typepad.com/rostitchery/infinity-dress.html.
The sunrise on Saturday morning was the most spectacular it has been my pleasure to witness for a very long time. The colours were just amazing. I haven't added any saturation to this photo in PP - the colours really were this intense. The image is a composite of 4 exposures blended in PS CC using luminosity masks.
..Infinity Bridge, Stockton-on-Tees, England.
Wanted to shoot this bridge for a while (after seeing photos on flickr), work took me to Darlington last night, so i had a little detour,.. if you seen a 'madman' on the bridge at 4am,.. it was me.
Have had several Infinity pools installed on jobs I have overlooked. Seen the way they are built. Seen the finish project in daylight as the pool overlooks the lake. It really seems like the lake is a continuation of the pool looking from the stairs entering across to the outer wall.
But I, until last week, had never experienced from within, and especially at night.
It is absolutely surreal. It's uncanny how the senses are so easily fooled making you believe something you know isn't possible.
I just sat in at the end of the night starring into the lake. In total bliss. Nobody bothering me. And I would wake in morning . Do my yoga, and do it before I left. The pool was supposed to be closed. But the staff let me anyways. If I ever become a multi-millionaire. With money to burn. I definitely would have one of these babies.....
