right now we are alive in this moment and I swear we are infinite -perks of being a wallflower
golden hour is back! that means spring is almost here :D
i bought a 5 pound bag of confetti about 2 weeks ago and i decided to test it out today, so now It's all over my car and I made a trail of it all the way to my room. I have lots left so i plan on using it again!
quote/title from perks of being a wallflower. I could watch that movie over and over again and never get bored. I'm going to try some new stuff over my break next week. try to do less "pretty" and more experimental. and hopefully use lots of other people!
on a side note, I really want to start doing some print swaps! I want to cover my walls with some amazing art from other artists <3

LA LAGUNA CON L'ISOLA DI BARBANA
Barbana è un’isola posta all’estremità orientale della laguna di Grado, sede di un antico santuario mariano. Si estende su circa tre ettari e dista circa cinque chilometri da Grado; è abitata in modo stabile da una comunità di frati minori francescani. Il suo nome deriva probabilmente da Barbano, un eremita del VI secolo che viveva nel luogo e che raccolse attorno a sé una comunità di monaci.
L’isola di Barbana è collegata a Grado da un regolare servizio di traghetti, con partenza dal Canale della Schiusa. Il viaggio richiede circa 20 minuti di navigazione. L’isola è inoltre dotata di un piccolo porto e può essere raggiunta anche con mezzi privati.

Des couleurs surréalistes grâce au ciel capricieux que nous avions eu durant la journée, celui ci se révélera utile quand le soleil se coucha.

...wide is the landscape! While the distant cloud cover (like 50km away) was an early sign of the impending thunderstorms it proved for some nice additional layer in this blue hour photograph.
I love this national park for its relative remoteness even in the densely populated country of Germany. The only person sharing this sunset with me was a fellow photographer on the neighboring mountain, like two kilometers away. A nice start into the weekend!
Captured with an Olympus OM2, unknown lens, and probably Kodachrome 64 slide film. This is about halfway from Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon. I recall using the Depth of Field scale inscribed on the outside of the lens in order to determine the DOF on this image. Probably taken around 1990.
I never tire of this view, as every visit brings different conditions. The only thing I haven't seen from here is a rainbow, which may be difficult owing to the orientation of this view (looking south so the sun needs to be close to the North)
Final 3 posts from last weeks visit to Lathkill Dale. The mist forming in the valley became very photogenic, with the trees on the valley edge in the distance creating crepuscular rays in the mist
Getting ready to return to work after my gardening leave. (Un)fortunately have a new position so my days of freedom will be limited! Finishing off posting shots, backing up files and getting ready to restart paying my dues to the taxman!
