The Indiana and Ohio was not operating on the day we visited, but I did manage to get Baldwin 91 near the station in Brookville, Indiana. Next to the station is 750 horsepower Lima 20, still in its U.S. Pipe and Foundry paint.

Continuing a series of experimental photos with a Kodak No. 1A Autographic Jr. (circa 1917). All settings are mentioned as they appear on the camera. If you are lost, I suggest starting with the first photo in the corresponding album.
Since the Autographic is slightly larger than the Premo, I thought it would be better to use it as a sort of "field camera;" using it to take photos of landscapes rather than portraits. Taking it out to the Indiana Dunes was a perfect excuse to test drive it.

Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corp. bus 154, Fort Branch, Indiana.
I don't have the VIN, and aren't familiar with the fleet. But 8-way red/amber warning flashers were first required in Indiana in July 1988, which effectively limits this bus to a three-year spread.

Perches like this don't come around often for this species. Last years weed stem stretching over a path through tall grass prairie at the edge of the tree line. Same fly -- 3 perches.

Looking into Dearborn Station on May 13, 1964 from Chicago's Roosevelt Road Viaduct. The three locomotives are: at the right is a Monon RS2 and the other two are C&WI RS-1s.
The Chicago & Western Indiana Railroad was the owner of Dearborn Station in Chicago and the trackage leading to it. It was owned equally by five of the railroads using it to reach the terminal, and kept those companies from needing their own lines into the city. In 1994 it became a subsidiary of the Union Pacific Corporation.

I Liked the Indiana Jones movies of old, so i am curious how this one will turn out..
CTA Indiana station showing a pair of Kenwood branch shuttle cars meeting at the start of the single track lead into the station, and a train of wooden cars at right ready for another trip on the Stockyards branch.
The Kenwood branch shared the right-of-way with the Chicago Junction Railway, and a good deal of the old embankment is still in place today, minus the bridges and rails.
William C. Hoffman photo from a Shore Line Interurban Historical Society slide set www.shore-line.org/ Both the Kenwood and the Stockyards branches were abandoned in 1957- thankfully Mr. Hoffman and a few others took these great color photos while these branches were still in operation.
