The brain relies on receiving accurate information from the eyes. The brain requires clues about depth, shading, lighting and position to help interpret what the eyes see. However, when we look at a two-dimensional image, for example, there is no information about depth for the brain to interpret so it makes assumptions that the object we are looking at must be governed by the rules of perception. Any movement seen in this image, is your brain trying to apply past experiences to make assumptions about
what is seen. Like looking at clouds, what is perceived to be seen, is the combination of inner and outer
vision.
A rather bendy walkie-talkie building! Love the distortion effects of the fish-eye lens and how much of the surroundings you can actually get into one image.

Inspired by Christopher Nolan's Movie, 'INCEPTION'. This is the Barangaroo area in Sydney. The architecture is insanely picturesque. This photo is special to me as it recently grabbed the attention of the movie's Cinematographer, Wally Pfister, who filmed the movie along with Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.
