As we discovered later, the Inca traditions were depicted very accurately in this dance. Though the Incas were mountain people, they had great roads to the coast and often ate fresh seafood. The conch shell was used to communicate in much the same way that Polynesian people used it.
Still wearing that same smelly shirt. Just remembered that I wore it on another sweaty day of hiking last summer. Poor abused shirt.
