Happy Mother's Day to all those women who have, at one time or another, at one point in time, been a mother, a step mother, a foster mother or the role model for a child.

I hate having my photo taken or even posted on the web (that's why I am behind a lens) but for mother's day and my photo a day, I thought it appropriate. Here I am with my daughter and my granddaughter on Mother's Day taken with the IPhone and my favorite app hipstamatic. I have also added a bit in aviary.

"Stop Parking In The Damn Bike Lane"

· Perhaps this sticker belongs on windshields, not on bike racks.

It is insane that someone found the need to have these printed up and distributed nationwide.

Detail from "Spoonfall," a kinetic? animated? sculpture at the H2hotel. One of the hotel's eco-features is a roof that collects rainfall, some of which goes through the sculpture.

"Rotundone" describes all my favorite wines. Plus, I do like black pepper.
