I still need to knit the lining and block it so that it doesn't have that little nipple at the top. I was going to knit his name into the lining, but I have this fear that it's going to be too small, so I think I'll do a plain lining, send it out and if it's too small he can send it back, it'll be mine and I'll make him another, moving up a needle size.

Melody, a custom babr in progress for Suzanne-in-phoenix... another make-up preview. Brown tones layered into her shadow, a tint of blush, and some sparkle at the outer edge (see eye detail, below)
These are her baby's breath stock blue eyes... I thought I'd leave them in for now and we could decide if they stay when she's almost done!
This was meant to be a single-skein practice square that would be felted and sewn into a little change purse. I'm loving it so much that I'm thinking about forgoing the felting, buying more yarn and making it a scarf instead.
White Rabbits are hitting my Etsy shop soon! Here's a sneak peek at the first 6 rabbits to come. The one on the left is almost done -- he just needs a face! ^_^
Quilt top is all pieced.
I plan to embroider some birds into the sashing too...

Hi, dears! Here is the initial preview of the happibug traveler! She can't wait to get on the road and meet you all!
A few things to note: Her make-up is in progress ... not sealed yet, so she'll have more subtle freckles added, this is just a first layer ... and some details added to her lips + gloss, of course! She'll have lids painted to match her shadow with a design that suits her theme. She's borrowing an extra eyemech right now. Thanks for stopping by to see her! ♥♥♥

The new set-up does make the room look much bigger. Plus, there's now space on the floor for tummy time.
I'm really disappointed with the "orchard" crib set -- I'm going to return it, actually. The colors are not nearly as vivid as I'd hoped.
Suzanne's Punkaholic People is following in Joan Jett's footsteps, with an electric guitar and a broken heart on her lids, done in a "cartoon" style reminiscent of Roy Lichtenstein.

The top, with borders, ready for quilting. I used fuseable batting for the first time. It's very stiff! The package says that will wash out, but given that this is intended to be a wall-quilt, that might actually be a plus. I did baste a little by hand because I don't trust the edges to stay unpeeled while I'm manhandling the sandwich during quilting... it's now about 42"x42". More info here: link.
Progress pic from last week. I'm afraid I may have mucked the background, but I'm working on fixing it! Ahhh.... >_<;
Sashing my blocks from LQS4 using this aqua/chocolate batik that really reminds me of the ocean.
First row is done and I'm working on the second row.
Blocks are made by~
Row 1: John, SandyB, John, Laural
Row 2: chinarockfishakm, John, me, whoopdedoo
Aren't they great! :)
Here are all the blocks in my mock layout. I need to make one more for that blank spot cuz southern flower wasn't able to finish a block for me in time.
